I am absolutely amazed at the amount of commentary that simply criticizes the LOOKS of the women...I find the UK version of the show to be realistic compared to the Trump version and watch it for that reason. I find the US version incredibly vapid and shallow...

Brittain is certainly not known from producing good looking people, but just compare the UK version with the US version. It's like the one tries really hard to have only good looking people on the show and the other tries to scare people away by putting Lorain in front of the camera. Obviously not the best looking women on the show, but Lorain is on another level.

@VariedInterest Yet when they split up, they're HER kids suddenly and he just gets visitation rights AND has to pay for them not to mention 70% of couples have kids because the WIFE wants them so it's a job she CHOOSES. Not to mention that home work is not a full time job once the kids are older than 3y. They're off to school and the wife gets to sit around watching day time TV most of the day. Don't pretend it's not true - a household takes maybe 10 hours a week, not 40 like a regular job.

Anyway, assuming she is in fact a home parent, then I think what we're looking at is a case of cultural differences. Now putting kids to one side, I used to feel the same way about my ex, who wouldn't dare open her wallet for anything even though we made similar money, though she never hesitated to whine about what she wanted. So much for independent women then, eh?
