i also recieved the steroid shots. those needles are soooo fat! i got mine in the hospital, it felt like i got kicked by a horse. i just swore my way through it, and it helped the nurse and i laugh instead of cry. it sucked cuz 1 day they did one cheeck and the next the did the other, and i felt like i cudnt lie down on my butt anymore.
hehe. At least its over now. Good job! Ive seen people do it worse. yung kuya ko for school immunization, he actually pushed the nurse away and like 6 people had to hold him down. and kailangan nya pa ihawak yung hand nang mommy namin. hehe.
@StephaNoid8- haha kakahiya talaga ako :) i was given a sedative shot when I was admitted and the nurses were laughing at me. They said, "doctor, you have given a lot of our patients their shots and have inserted a lot of IV lines! Madaya ka at takot ka din pala sa tusok!" hehe
@JPSUESS - Thank you! I was always told that when you are a mother, you will do anything for your child. Now that I am a mother, it is just now that I this statement is sinking in. There's just an overflowing love for our children that it amazes me how selfless we all become :)
Ohhh : ( When I was pregnant with my twins, I also had pre-term labor. They were actually born 2 months early because of this reason. I am so sad when I heard you cry....poor thing. Be strong and positive for your baby. Your husband seems so nice about it all...thank God for a good husband!
@angel292005- That is so true, thank God for a wonderful hubby :) I dont know why I never outgrew my fear of needle sticks :) We even used the smallest possible needle and yet I was really scared. LOL
