He is seriously the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my entire life. And he is also one of the best actors out there. Yet he is so underrated in Hollywood. His performance in this movie was outstanding but he wasn't recognized in the way he should have been. He should have won an Oscar for this role.
As much of a religious experience as it is to watch Andy Garcia act, just watching him speak about acting and carefully formulating and choosing the right words to describe his work and the importance of his characters is a beautiful thing.

Though Modigliani's life ended tragically the performance by Mr. Garcia made me care about the artist and every life touched by him. Bravo to Mr. Garcia for once again choosing to tackle difficult subject matters...he's a true artist with a warm and generous spirit.
