this is one of the best movies ever. Angela Lansbury is cold, methodical and scary! Love her! If your child doesn't mind...brain wash them...hahahaha!  Laurence Harvey is amazing also he is just as cold and Ms Lansbury. I so wanted him to be happy in the end. Harsh scene to kill the only woman you ever loved. New respect for Frank Sinatra as an actor...he was superb!

Lansbury was perfect in her role. However, interestingly enough, Frank Sinatra originally wanted Lucille Ball for the part. Thinking about it, it would've been FASCINATING to see Lucille flex her dramatic muscle. I actually think she would have been excellent.
