@lwdehaas i did that but as soon as it comes up to the bit where it is connecting to the device getting ready to redo everything this message comes up "A connection to the device could not be established. Please ensure that the device is properly connected to the cradle or USB cable, and that the cradle or USB cable is connected securely to your computer. Also ensure that the device has completed any startup operations. Then run the Application Loader Wizard again." PLEASE HELP
Hey, i have the exact same problem, this just happened to me 5 minutes ago!!! i was updating my phone too and my blackberry just turned off by itself. My macbook then said that my blackberry was disconnected (even though the usb wire was still plugged in) and i guess the blackberry was resting by itself and now i get the "app error 205" with the white screen as well. Well it's been october of 2009 since you posted this video, how did u get it fixed?
I have a very similar problem, except that my Curve has a black screen and the red light just blinks. There seems to be no help available for a Mac user.

Use Parallels and then download the Desktop Software for Windows!
Be sure to delete the vendor.xml file before updating. Hope this helps.

@troopergardner378 Easily done on a PC. Check "How To Restore A Nuked BlackBerry", by CrackBerrydotcom.
