I live in Chicago Illinois (AKA hell) I want to own firearms for defense but the law is against me. I don't have boat loads of money to pay for classes (common sense classes) that I can learn from the internet, forums, common sense and range time.

explain to me how a body of people can vote on our right to protect ourselves and our families in a state with no carry law at all and they themselves have the right to carry concealed with no worry of breaking the law because of there political position gives them a right to a concealed firearm... irony is a mother fucker... every concerned citizen should move to another state with lower taxes higher job rates and a right to protect yourself... All I know is that my neighbor an 2 of her children are dead. They would have lived if the law permitted her to own a handgun to protect herself. Good going city of Chicago and state of Illinois. The criminals have nothing to worry about here now that the police and the state are keeping them safe from armed citizens.

Thats all great but when is someone going to come to CA's rescue? Its insane here. You can open carry but it has to be unloaded and even then you end up having a SWAT team up your ass. Worst off that law is now under threat, along with going after ammo, magazine capacity restrictions etc etc

@SavingtheRepublic1 If this lawsuit goes all the way to SCOTUS then it will apply to all 50 states but that is a long long process. CA won't get any better unless the supreme court forces it. Lets face it, CA is a socialist state. the legislature is majority democrat and won't change any time soon if ever at all.

All I got to say is kill the rats that are in charge and replace them with better people and you'll change the state. It's a domino effect, one thing will change and others will follow suit... It'll take time though, but it will happen that CA will become an American state again soon. Now it's just a unamerican one that just yells out for criminals to come live there and just fuck shit up for the fatcats and govs. Soon they'll realise that no people no money for them.
