Absolutely love this vid! Great old stuff from the good days of 70's speedway. Irwindale was actually a decent sized track for "short track" standards. If i'm not mistaken, it was about the same size or a bit bigger than old IMS. I love how some of these guys(Penhall,Bast,Nutter) ars using a 22" tire. Hardly ever see that anymore.

I enjoyed watching these guys at the track at Orange County Fairgrounds in the early 70's: the noise, the dirt, and the smell of that fuel all bring back great memories- good fun.
