ok, removed it. i guess i will now re-position the brake light under the fender and run the wires underneath?? what about filling the gap where the brakelight was?? i've never done any mods before...

just undo the bolts in the back to remove passenger seat

purchased the bike with those pipes, the former owner says they are unrestricted, meaning open baffle, I think some one cut the pipes (original) short......by removing inside baffles from pipes, thks for looking

yes those are hollowed out stock pipes. i did the same thing to my 87 rebel 450. I slash cut them right before where it tapers down on the end and then remove all the baffles. It is VERY loud!
