i think if you consider the role of a Special forces unit the Taliban can definitely fit the description and are very likely at the top of the list.

They have none and require no backing from any military to supply new troops, no government to support them. They are completely autonomous. They can move and strike without a single soul in the world knowing. severely under armed by comparison 1 man can hinder or stop dead entire armies and their operations.

@BringerOfD no because the cowardly terrorists have no special forces training . after they fire a rpg at a stationary convoy they have no intentions of sticking around to finish the battle . the special forces stay until every single enemy is dead . they dont plant IEDs on the road to kill soldiers and civilians . they do the job with amazing skill . how as the cowardly terrorist fight like they are a bunch of retards which they are anyway .

@jaketaylor15 the taliban are no cowards. they fight the way they do simply because they lack the equipment to fight us conventionally. any other way would not be bravery but simply stupidity. An SF unit isnt defined by their training but simply the way they do their jobs. Our armies give them specific training because the regular troops need to follow set rules and guidelines in a fight. The way they fight is no different from the way the navy seals would work. sneak in wreak havok and leave.
