(the one strike your out thing)this is a way for the family to grieve.I do believe its a (im going to get all predators)to get back at all rapist.thats wrong part of it...do it because you want to.there doing because of what happened.or the wouldn't even thought about it.period.but its a good thing.because I dont think predators will ever change.so all in all its a good thing.
I coached there for three years! Such a busy park. I am still having trouble contemplating how in the world Gardner or Chelsea was not seen!!!! Yes, she should have had better judgement running alone. But I know that place. The last thing you would expect was for this to happen! A quality person was lost.
@wannabehendrix I didn't think anything could happen in that park either. I'm 21 yrs old & I walked in that park alone all the time around the time she was killed. I feel so completely stupid now that I know it wasn't safe there. But who would have guessed?

This unfortunately is a harsh reminder that the reality is quite different. Ironically, it is now probably the safest park to be in now that everyone is looking out for each other. Which should have happened in the first place!

I went to Chelsea's memorial. It was good to hear that she will be remembered. I sat on the field also, but people were everywhere. I believe that there were over 5,000 people there, maybe more. Rest In Peace Chelsea.
