liza is an original, there are not many in line to take her place. it would require a person to be an original, not a copy. i will miss liza, barbra, sinatra, etc.
Can I be brutally honest? I want people to comment on this video without Bitching on glee. Whenever I see a comment that's spiteful to something popular today I'm thinking getting less and less sure as to the prioraties of said comments. I belive that you don't show respect to anything by disrespecting something else. by shoughting "this is so much better then glee, they ruined this song" you are infact insulting the video by giving no prase outside of spite for something else completly petty.
All of you saying that GLEE is trying to outsing the original is wrong. GLEE sings all these songs to appreciate the originals. They know they're not the originals it's just a cover.
Glee's work to recognize is to revive and make popular all this old songs maybe just a few remember today... But we who knew all these wonderful artists like Liza, Judy her mother, Marlene, Aretha, and a whole lot of Stars... whom really sang meaningfully to all of us their feelings and gave us so many golden memories.
This goes to show that GLEE is a terrible show but it does bring the young generation to appreciate the originals. I wouldn't be caught dead watching that show on a personal note.

Apart from anything the fact that you just said glee when it wasnt even a regular glee cast member it was Kristin Chenoweth who is probably one of the most talented broadway stars of our generation.
I love this song. I'm not sure why Glee thought they could out do Liza, but that one's good too. They need more showtunes on Glee, not all this new "on the radio" crap.
It hurts me that the glee version comes up in search before this one. This is the classic!
