  • This is really difficult to hear.

  • Demolition were the WWEs alternative to Hawk and Animal and people wanted to see those two teams collide for years.I think alot of people think they were a rip off because of the face paint and the rocker type of personality but they were both two very differant teams with differant styles. All round I would say the L.O.D were better but Demolition were a great team also. Its a shame that when they finally did collide Demolition lost Axe due to ill health and crush came in as a sub it was over

  • you guys were great, but youre no animal and hawk

  • My fave tag team growing up. Best theme music ever......

  • can't see shit! CAN'T CONCENTRATE AHHHhH!!!

  • For crying out loud, who edited this shit? FUCK OFF WITH THE BIG FUCKING LETTERS RUNNING ACROSS THE SCREEN!!!! You may aswell just lose the picture and use audio, it's distracting and puts you off. Couldn't even watch past 10 seconds because of this shit. Going to go find a better edited video.

  • demolition gained hella weight.

  • Great video. Thanks for the rental.

  • the royal rumble match where they started off number 1 and 2 and went at each other until the next guy came out was a classic ... love it love it love it !

  • Get rid of the stupid FUCKING text running across the fucking screen!!!!!

  • these guys are jokes

  • @rogerscottburchett1 and your a faggot...your point?

  • @allhell138 You're, not your.

  • @PhilBrooksSES Sure thing "Phil" spend some more time playing grammar Nazi why dont'cha.

  • Smash had long since been going bald, and so it was no shocker that he would just shave his whole head.

  • i heard they are reforming with a new partner named ''Squish''!

  • demolition was nowhere near as good as the Legion Of Doom they were tough but LOD rules.

  • I loved Demolition back in the day. They were a great great Team and it was a shame they didnt go against L.O.D earlier.Shame Vince never signed them up when Demoltion was still Hot.There last great bout was against The Hart Foundation at SummerSlam when Crush only just came into the mix.

  • HAHAHA looks like they are really taking their time to put on the face paint here... when they used to wrestle it always looked like they hurry up and throw it on there face for their promos...

  • Not sure what's more annoying with this video, the shitty music or asstastic scrolling text.

  • Demolition for WWE HOF 2012.

  • I can't hear a damn thing because of the unnecessary music.

  • Anyone know exactly what Bill meant about Bret & "sometimes when you in the forest you don't see all the trees."???

  • @TNO73 They didn't realize his greatness. At least that's how I took it.

  • Ok who else used to kick ass using Demolition in the old arcade game WWF Wrestlefest (even though Crush was in place of Axe)?

  • @SnakeMan227 lol loved that game my team was Mr.Perfect and Ted DiBiASE

  • @Voice173 If i didnt use Demolition i used Jake the Snake and Mr Perfect

  • I loved these guys. It helped that they pretty much had the coolest intro music... ever.

  • Hey, what's former WCW wrestler Pain Stewart doing with that makeup on?

  • Look....it's the Masked Superstar & Repo Man :)))

  • Look at these two fatherly looking pleasant midle aged men.

  • fave tag team ever

  • You guys are like 60. Lose the face paint.

  • @philberz

    KISS as well then ^^

  • @SolidMike84 If KISS were doing an interview for the internet, then yes, I would 100% agree.

  • They need to have white paint underneath or they dont look like Demolition.

  • Barry Darsow as Krusher Kruschev was an interesting character, but I liked him more in Demolition.

  • Two guys who loved and respected the business. Very smart and the interview looks in-depth. I originally looked at them as LOD rip offs, but they sure did stake out their own legacy. Hat tip to Demolition.

  • @MyMachine123 Darsow (Smash) & the LOD are actually friends (at least they were). They padded their pockets back in the day as bouncers. It's a shame because they actually put on good matches. I never thought they were LOD ripoffs since they were just different enough it worked for me. One of the more underrated tag teams in history.

  • @MyMachine123 Vince's original intention was for them to be LOD ripoffs, but they outgrew that idea on their own and made it known that Demolition was, in reality, their own separate gimmick from the Road Warriors.

  • @MyMachine123 That was Vince's original intention, for Demolition to be WWF's answer to LOD, but Demolition outgrew that on their own faster than one could blink and became known as a distinct team from the Road Warriors.

  • these guys were awsome

  • My first Wrestling Match: Demolition vs. British Bulldogs. Great!!!

  • Greatest. Tag Team. Ever.

  • these guys and lod were a great heel vs face. i also dont understand why crush always gets left out of this group but then again not to many rem the time crush was apart of demolition. it was lod and warrior vs demolition in 89 or early 90's

  • You have to love the effort Axe put into his face paint for this interview.

  • The only resemblance is the the facepaint...

  • How in the world did you get us here to do this, anyways? LOL

  • Demolition should be in the Hall of Fame. I don't know why they're not and Ko Ko B. Ware is. It befuddles me. The ROAD WARRIORS should be in also.

  • Damn these guys are LOD clones

  • @bricksmma If thats what you think, you dont know anything about these guys or wrestling in the 80s

  • I am so sick of people saying these guys are LOD clones they are nothing a like at all. Hell if your gonna say that you may as well say Goldberg = Austin Jesse Ventura = Billy Graham Abyss = Kane The Rockers = Rock and Roll Express JBL = Million Dollar Man Carlito = Razor Ramon John Cena = Austin/Rock John Morrison = HBK
  • @TheHappynot Thank you.

  • @TheHappynot Well...actually the Rockers were rip offs of the Rock and Roll Express, Jesse Ventura was most definitely a rip off of Superstar Billy Graham (he even admits it), Abyss is a rip off of Mankind, not Kane and how you figure a rapper turned white meat babyface like Cena resembles a couple of babyface with heel attitudes like Austin and the Rock is beyond me

  • @fundyspokerblog I know I hate Cena too. The reason he clones them is he tries to act like rock in promos The U cant see me thing attitude reminds me of Austin with the finger. Also his moves STFU was Austin and the 5 knuckle shuffle is the Peoples elbow also the FU is a copy of Lesner's F5 I was just trying to say that he is a clone of other characters.

  • @TheHappynot But those are still not right. PERHAPS I'll give you the 5 knuckle shuffle thing but the rest? No. The STF is a move that's been used for over 30 years. They only added the "U" because of his finisher being the FU. That's just a modified fireman's carry and nothing to do with the F5, plus I think Cena was actually there first. "You can't see me" is a rapper thing, which fits into his then character. You're looking WAY too much into things

  • @fundyspokerblog Yeah, but he most likely took it from Austin, Plus the FU was something he came up with while in a feud with Brock.

  • Ax and Smash were my favorite tag team.

  • It's annoying listening to music and them talking..

  • I really wish you dumbass's wouls stop putting music in the videos.

  • How did you get us here to do this? I asked lol I love that line

  • Vince wanted the Warriors and couldnt have them and he made his own in Demolition, that said Demo did make its own name and had its own style, But Darsow and The Warriors were cool and had Darsow had checked with them to make sure it was ok. The Powers of Pain were a WCW/NWA knock off despite having the Warriors there, PoP left WCW

  • always wondered if they did the face paint thereselves or had to draw each others. I know for me it would be hard for to put it on myself. lol I would scew up to much

  • these guys funny.

  • The text scrolling across really drives me insane.

  • They still look healthy..and both seem to be pretty down to earth...pretty level headed about the whole deal..a lot of guys are pissed off at their careers...these two seem to be pretty chill

  • @TheNyghtShyft there not marks thats why. the losers in wrestling are the guys who cant escape it. they escaped it they got careers now. ax has gone back to being a school teacher and smash owns his own company

  • @ant8tfive That's excellent news. Wendi Ricter was another one who made a life after being a wrestling star.

  • @TheNyghtShyft There are a lot of wrestlers who manage to make lives for themselves outside of wrestling (Trish Stratus being a good example), but the press only dwells on the guys whose bodies have broken down or can't walk away from the business for whatever reason.

  • These guys are awesome, their theme song was so badass too.

  • written by Jimmy Hart

  • i liked em better when they were the road warriors

  • Um... wrong team. Hawk and Animal were the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom.

  • He means as a person.

  • "Gimme the boot"

  • lol

theyre wearing their makeup in an interview.

  • lol how silly

  • Smash > Repo Man

Hopefuly they get into the HoF cuz they were tremendous.

  • This was an awesome team! Go Demolition!

  • Ok, wow... That was great

  • Wrestlers age sooo bad... my Lord!!!!

  • @Seegs86 Smash is 50 and Ax is 62

How do you expect them to look?

  • @Seegs86 They were older when u were watching them lol.

  • thats kinda tight that they put the make-up on on camera

  • I enjoyed them as a team ,but I would'nt want to watch them as team as they are older.

I think now, Eady would get off being Masked Superstar and Darsow would get off being Blacktop Bully ,if they were still to do shows at the independants.

  • these guys were the merchants of destruction ...i wish there was a match with all three teams together. powers of pain, road warriors, demolition

    WOW

  • great to see these guys..too bad there are no teams like this anymore.

  • awesome tag team, they don't make them like that anymore

pain and destruction is are middle name

  • True Demolition is quit a bit older and not nearly in as good a shape as they where but..that being said I think the important thing is remember these guys could put on a show like no other. They still are at it today.

  • everyone likes to say that these guys ripped off the Road Warriors and i thought that too at first but they carved out a reputation of their own. If you really want RW ripoffs take a look at the Powers of Pain. Barry Darsow is a cool dude and he broke in to wrestling with Hawk and Animal.

  • @patvilhauer

    My thoughts exactly!

Both LOD & D, however took from Mad Max

    The Roadwarrior & Lord Humungus

  • @patvilhauer barry was a nice guy too

  • @patvilhauer I know I dont know why people make that comparison. powers of pain were a lot more.

  • @patvilhauer Whether or not you were a fan, they were a RW ripoff, as were the powers of pain. just like the rockers were a rip off of the midnight express/rock and roll express (midnight rockers)

  • @patvilhauer Whether or not you were a fan, they were a RW ripoff, as were the powers of pain. just like the rockers were a rip off of the midnight express/rock and roll express (midnight rockers)

  • @jonnyhunglo

C'mon, POP ripped off quite a huge bit

Demolition had SOMETHING different at least

  • @patvilhauer originally they were a rib from the WWF to WCW's Road Warriors, but these guys were talented and good enough to create their own rep especially when the Road Warriors went to the WWF

  • @patvilhauer Animal has even said in interviews that he liked ax & smash and felt they were different from the road warriors. They were just different, not ripoffs.

  • where's Fugi?

  • Demolition,Stieners,Hart Foundation,Outsiders, now those great teams.

  • too bad no Crush...

  • This is such a dumb concept. Demolition talking about their matches sounds good but the catch is...you CANT watch their matches or Sean Oliver will crap his pants when WWE Legal send him a cease and decist. I think this idea sounds good but is not practical. Back to the drawing board Oliver!

  • Barry was the shit..After Demolition, they screwed him up..??

  • them vs hart foundation best ever

  • they looklike two overweight kids going trick treating.

    JON

  • lol

  • I wish they would come to Kentucky for a convention or something I bet The Fright Night Film Fest would add them, they have had wrestlers in the past and tend to have atleast on every year..Pass this along to Demolition for me ; )

  • My favorite tag team of all time them & L.O.D.

  • lol what is adam pearce doing there?

kidding, but still the repo man rules.

  • sorry...got the 2 confused...either way...wouldnt my idea STILL B F'N' SWEET!!!!!...mr. eadie as "masked superstar"/"super machine" & mr. darsow as "BTB"/"k-2"/etc.?...i mean,really now?!?!?

  • now...kaycom guys...get mr. eadie as the (super) destroyer &/or super machine...as well as mr.darsow as the blacktop bully/krusher kruschev/"chip shot"(his golfer character in wcw in the late 90s)...that/those would be F'N' SWEET!!!!!

  • Bill Eidie was the Masked Superstar; not the Super Destroyer. The Super Destroyer was the late Scott Irwin. However, the Super Destroyer and the Masked Superstar did form a great tag team in the 80's.

  • This looks sweet

  • I want to see this

  • Thank you for this. Enjoyed it!
