  • Insane game. Love it, still play it, miss the old days where friends talked about this. Now it's utterly extinct. Thank god for Youtube.

  • OOOOHHH MAN!! 8:01......thats the worst. oh, yea, been playin this since it came out, still playin it in 2011. great, simple, addicting gameplay, awesome intellegent soundtrack.

  • HELP!!!!!! I lost the music on my frogger game. I need answers on how to fix it!!!

  • @Boisebra88 you have the PC version. music goes out on old frogger PC CD's. it does the same thing for me

  • I still have this game. Big Boulder Alley and Boulder Alley are the two hardest levels in the entire game. Honey Bee Hollow and Uncanny Crusher are 2 levels I also tend to Game Over on.

  • i finished the zone but i couldnt find yellow frog ty so much man

  • my favorite zone

  • Just fyi, there's a 5k point bug in the road to the right on Crumbling Point. You can see it at 12:45.

  • OH GOD THIS ZONE....

  • geez...isnt there anything in this zone that doesnt kill you for god sakes????

  • @256pi processing power and storage was VERY precious around the time this game came out, so if anything was in the levels, it either gave you points...or it killed you

  • I have a pc version with sound. Am i special? OuO

  • There should be a sign at the beginning of the first cactus level saying 'Warning some of these obstacles may only be suitable for Chuck Norris'.

  • Do you know if they added this to like PSN or XBLA?

  • I used to be scared to do anything on Tumbling Valley...until I found there's one safe spot in the middle of the board.

  • OMFG!!!!! THIS IS THE LEVEL I CUD HAVE NEVER BEATEN

  • Geez the level after Boulder Alley is HELL X__X

I remember being stuck at that one for ages and I could never finish the game... was so frustrating when I was a kid >_<

  • @Doodlebug000 lol the cloud zone music is too trippy for me lol

  • This I played when I was about 5. I lost the game now though :( Does anyone know how I can download it for free for windows vista?

  • Best fucking game ever made.

  • I always hated those f***ing beetles.

  • The cactus zone was the one I never got past because of the falling blouders...

  • you missed the frogs at the corner of the screen

  • It would be awesome if this were on wii!

  • @YoAmorEspana he is right becuase if you have xp or higher the music wont play but you can get some of the music if you play it like a music disc. SOME not all.

  • one of the best psx games ever!

  • this zone used 2 always piss me off

  • Big Boulder Alley almost made me put my fist through my computer screen.

  • @XCHAPYEG this game made me punch my playstation so hard that i broke it and the disc inside lmfao

  • i remember having this on the pc

  • this is THE best PC game i bought around its time, Awesome music, Awesome levels, Awesome Multiplayer, Awesome game, low replay value wen u get all gold frogs.

    Highly reccomended 9/10

  • i have just bought this game for £2.75 for the pc, it is class

  • The music is part of the game. If you have the PC version, it usually won't play the music. You'll have to get the Playstation version to get the music.

  • @atrocity3010

the music is the main reason I'm watching it XP

  • ATTENTION: i sold my ps1 and ps1 games ages ago now but i bought Frogger and Frogger 2 off Ebay and going to buy a ps1 off Ebay. But my question is since my frogger games i bought were from America and i'm in Australia if i bought an Australian version of a ps1 would it play frogger and frogger 2 from America? please reply.

  • Dude, I kicked so much ass at this game when I was little.

  • Yeah, don't want to get hit by them tumbleweeds, they hurt.

  • I used to play this game all the time when I was little. The beetles in this zone used to scare me so badly. xD

  • haha lol! this game used to scare the living crap out'a me! thanks for bring back memories!

  • i always wondered why did the frogs explode when you collected them?

  • Because you step on them?

  • I've beat every frogger zone except for the cactus zone!

I still have my windows 98 computer just because my frogger data is stored on it. Thanks for the video, I'm going to go re-try this zone now :)

  • i found the gold frog it easy it on the last level on cactus zone in a place i can't discribe!!!!

  • thx for bringing back my childhood memories

  • WHERE IS THE GOLD FROG HEEE?!?! i CANNOT FIND IT!

  • Level 4, Crumbled Point. It's in the canyon wall on the left, just past the buffaloes, in between the beetles and snakes.

  • this game is cool, I don't collect the frogs, I explore the level, I found lots of Glod frogs that way.

  • I always loved this music!!

  • Lots of skill my friend....i remember it took me half a day to actually finish some of these stages xD

  • i love this game. this is when video games took skill

  • How is tumbleweed deadly to a frog? :/

  • I love this zone

  • The golden frog in this zone eluded me for so many years...I remember how shocked I was when I finally found it.

  • Where can i download this game, plz, can sbdy help me with a link? thnx!

  • this IS the best game ever made, No questions asked...

  • Why do loads of the zones have 2 levels that look the same?

  • how come you have 2 parts in retro and cactus zones.

  • Because on this attempt I game overed on Big Boulder Alley and I didn't feel like redoing the whole stage again.

  • how is a salamander so deadly?

its a amfibian like a frog!!!

  • i will never stop playing this and croc. they are way too fun

  • ahhh, the memories ^_^

  • dude this game brings back so many memories,

    thanks for the help

p.s. you're like the best frogger player ever next to my dad when he used to stay up into the night with my mom and play these levels over and over again =)

  • tumbling valley is well hard i find. :| i have actually given up on it. you make it look so easy because your so good at it! I've lost the msuic on my pc. and the tumble weeds aren;t as fast on pc

  • on my pc version with the tumbleweeds, they wern't that fast

  • in the regular boulder alley, on the PC version, I always got 75 seconds of time. for the first 2 weeks when I was on boulder alley, I always couldn't figure out where to go. I could only get 3 of the frogs on the level.

  • i wish they would make a new one, but more the lines like this one, not to 3D but juts right :)))))

  • Same here. It seems most of the "new" Frogger games except this one are below par, which is a shame considering how good this one is.

This game will always remain a classic to me. Props to the people who put a lot of effort into making the game and the excellent soundtrack to go with it.

  • i forgot tumbleweed even existed i love this level the music rocks

  • I always found Bouldert Alley hard because of the strict time limit, and all those bugs. Big Boulder Alley is definately a harder level but at least they give you more time.

  • BEST SOUNDTRACK EVERR

    lol

  • u are good

  • I've been playing Frogger for eight years, and I have never completed any of the levels!

    XD

  • lol

  • haven't played frogger in so long, stil have my original release date copy, gonna have to play that soon

  • When do you post the last level video?

  • All the levels are posted, look in the comments for this video for links.

  • What was the hardest level for you besides these?

    Big Boulder Alley

    Boulder Alley

    Crumbled Point

    Frogger Goes Skiing

    Uncanny Crusher

    Reservoir Frogs

    Boom Boom Barrel

    Lava Crush

Mine was Mower Mania. Just look at the mowers go. Did you know that you can superhop over them? Lava Crush was easy for me. :)

  • Yeah, although I prefer to just avoid them rather than superhop over them when given the chance. Lava Crush gave me a headache because I hadn't done the level in a long time and forgot how exactly to get the green frog.

Although you pretty much listed all the hard levels in the game, one that I can think of is Bow Wow Revenge, if not just for those rabid dogs. Not only are they fast, but they can stumble and trick you into moving when you think they've passed you.

  • There's a shortcut in Big Boulder Alley to help you get to the east side of the level more easily. Follow these steps.

    1. As always, superhop over the beetles.

    2. Head north, but do not go to the large beetle part. Instead go to West Boulder Mountain.

    3. Head north watching for boulders until you get north of the cactus and hop right. You are now in the east side of the level!

  • Yeah, I never do that insane part with the beetles and vultures. To be honest, I don't see how they expect you to do that part at all. It might just be a big "screw you" to the people who don't find the easier route.

I came very close to beating the level (I think it was on this try too), but I died going for the last frog (the green one). Damn crocodiles...

  • NickBush24's walkthrough for Big Boulder Alley does it the hard way (beetles and vultures).

  • One other thing is even if you do take the long and ridiculously hard way, you're almost guaranteed to run out of time (on the PSX version, anyway). Even with the easier way I only have 10-15 seconds left by the time I get to the crocodiles.

  • When will you post the video for Big Boulder Alley?

  • I always do it the harder way (in either version) and even in the PSX version, I can make it to the green frog without ever seeing the countdown. You just have to go really fast and take some risks here and there. I just don't like shortcuts - I feel like I'm cheating. I'll post a video of this eventually once I get FRAPS.
