    25.Eazy-Duz-It - Eazy-E (1988)

  • 11.The Eminem Show - Eminem (2002) 12.Moment Of Truth - Gangstarr (1998) 13.It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back - Public Enemy (1988) 14.Death Certificate - Ice Cube (1991) 15.Infamous - Mobb Deep (1995) 16.Revolutionary Vol.2 - Immortal Technique (2003) 17.The Don Killuminati 7 Day Theory - Makaveli(2pac) (1996) 18.Reasonable Doubt - Jay-Z (1996) 19.Stillmatic - Nas (2001) 20.Marshall Mathers LP - Eminem (2000)
  • @rloco80 illmatic is easily top 3, and no way eminem show beats SSLP or MMLP

  • @TheCrusader1994 If your read closely it says "STILLMATIC" not "ILLMATIC"! On the second part of this video from 10-1 if you check out my personal list over there I actually have Nas "ILLMATIC" as my number 6 I believe. Personally for me I prefer The Eminem Show over SSLP and MMLP any day! That's my favorite Eminem album of all. Lyricaly Eminem Show was better than MMLP & even with SSLP. But I like the beats more on Em Show over SSLP & MMLP. Everyone has different views.

  • @rloco80 @TheCrusader1994 Marshall Mathers LP was the most hardcore album Eminem put out, no doubt. But I love The Eminem Show as my number 1 favorite Em album. It's also my favorite Hip Hop album from the last decade (2000-2009). But its my 11th favorite in overall Hip Hop albums of all time! This is just my personal opinion. You don't have to agree. But this is my list for my personal rankings!

  • @rloco80 oh haha my apologies i didnt read it correctly

  • The best music genre.

  • this is his list, people dont make lists for people dicks about them. Me makes them for people to just like not to hate, AT LEAST HE DIDNT ANY WEEZY ON IT

  • this is comprehensive as a list gets. It's based off "impact"...most of what's missing did not have the impact needed to fit on the countdown without undermining a more seminal release.

  • Who made this list. How can Tupac's Me Against The World be at 22. He is the greatest rapper ever. Whoever made this list does not know hip hop. Your telling me that jay's blueprint is better that Me Against The World. What are you thinking stay off of the drugs.

  • Eminem above The GZA, your list fails hard

  • This list is dumb and where it actually makes sense, the numbering is a joke. I dont see Ras kass SOUL ON ICE or AZ's Do or Die. GZA's LIQUID SWORDS is below The Cronic. No disrespect but you must be joking. Most of those westcoast albums you cant even qoute a line that will blow your mind and most of those old school rap albums are just basic. Lets Stop sucking Dick and appreciate the art for the right reasons and I'm not saying some of the albums on this list are whack.

  • Public Enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Me against the world on #22, when i see this i directly put the dislike botton, sorry but u have to listen more hip hop bruh.

  • mobb deep should be higher-__-

  • Eminem Show should be up there... And Blueprint? Nah.

  • What's the music at the start?

  • @LegoLorikeet mobb deep shook ones pt2

  • @HandballMr THANK YOU :D

  • Good list but resurrection should be #5 at least that was commons masterpiece

  • 1.The Chronic-Dr.Dre 2.Doggystyle-Snoop Dogg 3.Chronic 2001-Dr.Dre 4.Illmatic-Nas 5.OB4CL-Raekwon 6.Straight Outta Compton-NWA 7.Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)-Wu-Tang Clan 8.The Big Picture-Big L 9.Restless-Xzibit 10.Lifestylez ov da Poor and Dangerous-Big L I'm sorry if i forgot some legendary abum(s)
  • I would really appreciate it if you guys could just list your top 10 hip hop albums of all time. I'm done with that new school garbage and I'm trying to really get into the old school classics so I would really appreciate it if you guys could just list your top ten hip hop albums of all time. Thanks!

  • @etk1995 Mines is 10 | Dr. Dre - The Chronic 09 | Boogie Down Productions - Criminal Minded 08 | N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton 07 | A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory 06 | Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... 05 | The Notorious B.I.G. - Ready To Die 04 | Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) 03| Eric B. & Rakim - Paid in Full 02 | Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back 01 | Nas - Illmatic
  • @Jaehova1 I totally agree!

  • I would put Nation of Millions higher, more like top 10 or even top 5. IMO

  • @thebobbyburrito recovery and relapse are eminems worst albums, his best lyrically albums are infinite and the slim shady lp and ep

  • infamous needs to be much higher in my opinion, but, good to see lots of good albums being recognised

  • nation of millions is way to damn low

  • no Game - The Documentary....fail!

  • Does that DJ Shadow album count?

  • Infamous, once you let it really sink in...it unveils a new side. That album will always be fresh, easily top ten for me. Also, Mecca at 16? Behind Doggystyle, Mmlp, even Straight Outa Compton, i cant agree with that. But hey its your list.

  • no one can do it better (D.O.C.) shouldn't be just a mention the album is brilliant

    10.Reasonble Doubt

  • I don't agree with some of the rankings but it's still a good list.

  • Who makes these list? Jay-z (Blueprint) and Eminem are pop artist! When the last time you seen someone in the hood bumping their music??? BTW, The Infamous #1

  • @eloveentertainment blueprint is a rap album

  • I appreciate this post, I mean, you obviously know what you are talking about BUT... I have slight beef. I know that people have their opinions and in the Hip Hop culture/history, the talk of the top album(s) of all time are within the three greatest spoken about. Public Enemy's, "It Takes a Nation of Millions..." Nas's "Illmatic," and Tribe Called Quests, "Low End Theory." This is what the historians of the culture state repeatedly, therefore I have an issue with PE at #17. One

  • Comment removed

  • Marshall Mathers LP better than Liquid Swords, The Infamous, The Blueprint and Mecca and The Soul Brother ? Man, you're crazy ???

  • dont have too much against this list, but public enemy is waay too low, and the marshal mathers LP is way too high, maybe in another 10 years or so it can creep up the list of the greats but not yet. it's too recent.

  • Outkast ahead of Big L? big l is a lyrical icon

  • how the fuck did Eminem beat out Mobb Deep, Big L, GZA and Pac?

  • Bone Thugs N Harmony-Eternal E

  • Mobb Deep should be higher in the list

  • word up bro !!!!!!!!!!

  • HOW DO WE PUT THIS STUFF ON OUR FONE?

  • YO HOW DO WE GET THESE ON OUR FONE?

  • wow, notice the lyrics, and how they all had clothes on back in the day. ya'll can have today's oiled up ninjas

  • How could Big L's album is lower than Em?

  • Marshall Mathers Lp is no doubt the greatest rap album ever.

  • HOLY SHIT WHERE IS THE CHRONIC OR ALL EYEZ ON ME?!!!

  • why did jay become gay?

  • @skaternoa26 for reals.

  • essa epoca o rap era foda todo mundo representava, agora virou uma merda,li´l wayne,t-pain,chris bronw, mins todos uns bostas

  • yo go to my channel and check my list, i hope u like it =)

    peace

  • lol. Why did you put a Jay-Z verse for Big L's album? Retard.

  • i was trying to show what a good album it was that even guest appearances were nasty

  • @auhosj877 that's not a very good way to promote an album. imagine i told all my friends about your new single but only showed them my verse. how would you feel?

  • @auhosj877 As you should have. That guy is an ignorant fuck.

  • @blZEInc The verse by Jay was sick

  • reasonable doubt only #15? damn man ur crazy.....u shouldn't be allowed to make a list like this

  • i remember wen i 1st got "liguid swords" i cudnt stop listenin to it lol

  • what does this guy knows shit all where the fuck is liquid swords! it should have been in your top five.

  • The Infamous should be in the top 10.

Thee Album Afu-Ra - Body Of The Life Force
  • yo bro it is a good list but you should have put AZ doe or die album

  • I dont really listen to nas.. I think hes a little overrated.. I do think mobb deeps infamous album should be a b it closer to 11.. after all they did stand up for NY during that eastcoast westcoast war when no other artists would!! :-)

  • Listen to Illmatic.

  • its tough, its a good album, but I'm not sure if its a classic. Some people think that was his best, I think the production and even at times, the lyrics can get repetitive over the full album

  • of course it's a classic wtf, it's by far the DEEPEST, most poetical, artistical, meaningful and relevant hip hop album ever, the production was awesome, the lyrics were fucking amazing, they may get repetitive but always wit a different meaning, every song has a different subject, some of them had been never spoken about by an emcee before, i mean cmon he made a song for his mother!

  • It's all opinion man this list is full of great albums. We all love 2pac. Peace.

  • @boozaaa

    ur totally right peace

  • I bought my first cds a couple days ago. I bought Paid In Full, It Was Written, Stillmatic, I Am..., Ready to Die, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Aquemini, It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, Blackstar, Reflection Eternal: Train of Thought, Illadelph Halflife, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), The Great Adventures of Slick Rick, The Score.

I'm going to build my hip-hop collection and I'm only 17 so these are my first cds. Cds are expensive though 14 cds for like

    $134.

  • @boozaaa

cool, i wanna buy mine too

  • Get Illmatic!

  • Get Illmatic what kind of dumb comment is that? Illmatic was the first hip-hop album I bought when I got into hip-hop.

  • [2]

let me give ya an example, most of people think illmatic is the best hip hop album ever, in fact, it's one of my favorite too (top 2), but when i listen to songs like halftime, one time for ya mind, represent and even it ain't hard to tell (great songs) they kind of seem the same to me, they have no point, i mean who cares it's halftime or that nas type of guy who be pissing on my elevator u kno wut i mean? when rappers say things like i' unbelievable, i aint no joke it's dope and shit

  • [3]

but i rather listen to a guy saying:

"let me alone i grew up amongst a dying breed", "they punish the people that's asking questions and and those that possess steal from tha ones without possesions" or "even if i did died young who cares? all i ever got was mean mugs and cold stares" cuz it's just much deeper, relevant and shows the mood of a whole generation of ghetto babies or whatever.

  • Subject matter and lyrically Me Against The World is Pac's best.

  • stfu and let people do their lists.

  • it's a great list, but i have the right to tell my opinion too.

  • for sure for sure, but dont come up with that shit, you could just say ''All Eyez on Me should be in top10'' or something like that

  • it's me against the world and it's at least top 5. I still think it's a fucking joke, however i could have been more polite, but this is internet so who cares?

  • oops, sorry haha Me Agaisnt the World. lol Well peace up.

  • it's all good peace

  • critical beatdown - ULTRAMAGNETIC MCS(WHAT U KNOW ABOUT THAT KIDS) -great adventures of slick rick !! -cold vein - cannibal ox -ras kass - soul on ice -kool g rap - road to riches / wanted dead or alive -gangstarr - moment of truth/step in the arena -outkast - ATliens -funcrusher plus - el-p / company flow -aesop rock - labor days/daylight etc... nice list but heres some picks str8 from the crates son
  • all great albums. I had to pick 25, its tough to narrow down

  • Marshal Mathers LP should in the top10, Infamous also

  • Agree!! marshall mathers lp is def in top 10 best hip-hop album of all time!!

  • i personally would've put Resurrection, Me Against The World, It Takes A Nation Of Millions, and Liquid Swords in top 10.

But it's still a good list none the less

  • Stankonia > The Blueprint? No way.

  • dude stankonia is way better than blueprint.. all jay-z talks about is swagger, with his boring slow ass flow.

  • infamous should be in the top ten

  • @BobbitoDigital2007 and replace what?

  • @Axceed1 its only personal opinion man, my top ten would be 1. Illmatic 2.Pete Rock & Cl Smooth - Mecca and the soul Brother 3.Main Source - Breaking Atoms 4.A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory 5.Eric B & Rakim - Dont sweat the technique (or any eric b and rakim album) 6.GZA - Liquid Swords 7. Mobb Deep - Infmaous 8.Smif n wessun - Dah Shinin 9.Boogie Down Productions - Criminal Minded 10. Wu Tang - 36 chambers But the more i think about it the more il change, i can keep goin and goin,u?
  • i own #'s 20.18.17.and 11. never even listened to the others,

  • stopped listening to hip hop in like 1990?

  • 1993 hip hop is err wack! go back, check the facts 1994 RETURN OF THE BOOM BAP!!! KRS ONE

  • so you're saying enter the wu-tang = wack?!?

  • i agree 94 is the best year hip hop has ever had. I mean right away illmatic + ready to die. Theres nothing thats gonna top even just that

  • 96 mite be the best year in hip hop tho.

  • @sugarfreemacca

lol Return of the Boom Bap came out in '93

  • @sugarfreemacca 94 was best but youre trippin if 93 wasnt ill: 36 chambers, strictly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z, midnight marauders, 19 naughty lll, bacdafucup, which doobie u

b?, slaughtahouse, black sunday and the list goes on. an wtf are u talkin bout bomm bap came out in 93.

  • where can i download like full albums cuz iv been wanting to get alot of these albums but im not gonna go download each indavidual song on limewire so can anyone help? thanks

  • It's called torrent. Download the torrent program "Vuze" then download torrents for each album. Just search the album title, then put "torrent" right after it.

I buy my cds cuz downloading for free fucks up my computer. but yeah it's your choice.

  • BYE THEM

  • Comment removed

  • ok. please reply to this. HOW THE FUCK IS EMINEM AHEAD OF GZA????

  • That's what I was thinking... lol

  • @mesaRESIDENT101 Because that album is better...

  • @mesaRESIDENT101 cuz eminems better imo. with the flow, multisyllable rhyming, i can see y

  • @bonkermcsteelo Are you kidding me? Almost none of the lines in Stan even rhyme, flow maybe, but god damn, lyrically no.

  • @TheEazyDuzIt95 uhhh stan has been praised for flow, story telling skills, and if u dont think it rhymes then u probably havent heard of close rhymes which makes "sorry" and "ronnie"nrhyme. almost every rapper uses it. and thats just one song. if u need more proof of eminems skill ill be happy to show.

  • @bonkermcsteelo I'm not denying that, but you only bend so many lines so that they rhyme in a song. I know very well of close rhymes, K-Rino, one of the best lyricists ever, uses them a lot and so does 2Pac. I'd love to see more proof of his skill.

  • @TheEazyDuzIt95 ok if ur lookin for flow then u can look up "Till i Collapse" "soldier" "The Way i AM" and "Lose Yourself". Lyricism u can see "Stay Wide Awake" "No Apologies" "Infinte" his verse in "renegade". if u want some battle rap type stuff then "Just Dont give a fuck" "role model" "Underground" "Under the influence". other songs r "Mocking bird" "Beautiful" "criminal" "marshall Mathers" "Sing for the moment" these r the songs that stood out for me.

  • @bonkermcsteelo I've heard all those songs before, the best out of all of them: Just Don't Give A Fuck

  • #14 = Doggystyle and #7 = Doggystyle too??? and The Blueprint is 2 times in the list too!!!

  • hahahaha naw ur looking at it wrong lol. i have 2 lists. best PRODUCED albums of all time and best albums of all time but youtube disabled half of the lists for each of them lol

  • oh OK. sorry lol

  • nice mix

  • OK...I've seen your 25-1...both vids. No Biggie-Life after Death, Boot Camp Click, Busta Rhymes, Fugees, The Roots, TribeCQ-Midnight Marauders.......Jeru was good not top 25(Album) all-time good. Also....your saying albums..not artist.....that includes compilations too---->Ride or Die V.1 & 2.

  • Aight so I think that three of your suggestions of life after death, the score, and midnight marauders are really good and were close to the list but they didnt quite make the cut. As far as the roots and Busta, theyre great artist but neither had an album good enough to make the list

  • Ice T - OG in there somewhere?
