It's Bruce's introduction to Jeet Kune Do and NOT Kung Fu. In Fact it is purposed to show JKD's dominance over everything else, e.g. traditional chinese styles.

As a HKD Practicioner I actually feel honored by Bruce picking Grandmaster Ji and Hapkido as the last stage against another Martial Arts System. Master Ji even taught Bruce some moves.

There is a quote from Bruce to Ji: "Of course I am going to win. It's my movie" ....

@qubiq3 Bruce Lee actually though Ji Han Jae's standard was very poor indeed, and he woved never to use him again after GOD; he felt obligated to use him as Angela Maoetc studied under him & also he brough him all the way from Korea.Ji is technically not up to much nor much of an athlete but sure he is skilled in Hapkido. Ji would later spin BS tales that he invented Hapkido!As bad as some of the Wing Chun guys like William Cheung spinning tall tales about some secret traditional system.
