@p21nut Hey there: thanks for your comment. Yes, there are several ones. I would recommend watching the "samba malandro" versions. They are the best reproductions of male versions of Samba. Watch the forward flexion and the fast knee motion (more knee flexion and use of heels). You will learn a lot. I will make a vid for guys using one of my male students. I can assure you the basic moves I teach would work for men and women, once you are more advanced you change it slightly. Thanks again.

If you open your legs like that you show everything, there's nothing left to imagintion, right?!!!! except for that it is a really good samba beginner video....

@wierzbinska This is a method I found useful for students having a hard time w/ transverse hip motion (parallel to floor). It adds a hip accent on opposite side and it helps make the move more dynamic. Lots of Brazilian dances are done w/ knee flexion and open knee, it's just the style. I'm a samba instructor as well and I really loved your video. I think it is easy and simple...and that's how it should be, because people are not used to the beat or the movements and it's very difficult to 'mould' their bodies, so it's best to start from scratch, otherwise it will result in frustration and they will give up.
