Recently, a friend of mine was in a car accident. She was sprung out of the car, not wearing a seatbelt. One of the worst spinal C3 injuries doctors ever seen. The randomness of life. Things do not happen for a reason, and he did not do anything to deserve this. This is not in any devine plan. The God I believe in does not "allow" these things to happen so this man or someone else can "learn something" from it. He is only a hero in the sense that someone might be inspired by his will to keep living. Maybe some people are inspired by that. Mostly he was just a normal guy at the wrong place at the wrong time. And it could be you or I tomorrow.

He is a living hero, he is an inspiration for all of us. When we think that we have a bad day we should think twice, I have so much respect for him and his Mother. It makes me want to work harder to be a better person. I wish I had one third the attitude that this young man has. I am currently in Nursing school because I want to help other people to be the best and healthiest that they can be.
