i have manged to reach top speed of 124 kmph in stock condition 14000 kms done. The bike just needs proper chain adjustment , good engine oil and a proper tuning.

hey i had fit my pulsar 220 with k and n R 1100. but fitted with canal. i didnt cut and all . i totally removed my air filter setup. and created a u clamp using steel and fitted it. and i am getting gud performance too
@TheArpitkoberoi Ya you can it works very well with scooters because of the sandwich type airbox design.. If you want sound then you have to leave the airbox sealed.. If you want a long lasting engine and good throttle response then put back the airbox cover..
@TheArpitkoberoi No, if you cover the air-box, no dust will get into the engine resulting in long life and your air-fuel mixture will not get very lean (Lean mixture means that lots of air is going into engine but less fuel) So try it.. My Honda Activa has a K&N and its working fine.. very good response and great mileage as well.. :) Mechanic will install it for you in 5 mins..

@flashmustain Dude my bike also same case like yours, 2007 red 150 dtsi, got K&N fixed (basic filter)... that caused lean mixture in engine which overheats the bore, so tune and rejet the carburettor by a VERY VERY good mechanic... bcoz others will try to cheat you... BUT be sure that life of the bore will be less after fitting filter.... don't waste your time, money and energy on this. All mechanics advise not to fit K&N... its only for short life racing engines only.. so good luck!

@deepakyewle Make sure you tune your carburettor properly otherwise you're engine will overheat..If your bike jerks under acceleration get it checked.
@shravanrulez : Hi, If you think that K&N is not the best, then you are not so in to it. i saw this video. the mechanic just inserted the air filter directly to the carburater. He missed an air house. Its kind of tube. Its very important since because it sucks the air ddirectly to the ccarburater. in your case, the dust particles gets in to your carburater and thus spoils your engine. K&N air filters can be used for life long. I have a black 2000 model CBZ and it works fine with it.
@shree2325 Quite true, but I didn't want to remove the side cover and expose the carb to more dust.. I even sealed the airbox back together after cutting.. now tell... my bike was simply running lean, leading to engine damage..
@shree2325 you are sadly mistaken. the air hose doesnt make a difference on particles entering the carb. if a particle is small enough to get through the filter then its going in.
dude a rc 1060 is not meant for a 200 u have to get a r 1100 its for bigger bikes, i guess u want fuel economy, ive done the exact same job but with a r 1100 nd iridium spark plugs, nice sound but bike dosnt rev more than 9000 rpm at 5th so im stuck at 120 km/h....bhp gain my as ive done rejetting nd everything, all i got was sound!!!

and k&n not good for VC carb.......thats make your bike slow than stock bike.
we have try it any peformance part to p200, if you want more power do modification on cham shaft make it high lift from stock......

but if tou change cv carburator with 2 stroke carburator thats good....(like pe 28 or fcr)
