  • Walk. Walk at a reasonable rate for 1 and 1/2 hours a day. I lost 42 pounds in 4 months.

    I hacky sack for exercise, but that's because I'm way too lazy to do anything that actually counts as exercise.

  • if you live in an apartment building, going up and down the stairs a few times will give you a great workout, and maybe let you meet a few new faces!

    Or if you prefer to stay in your commute area, yoga is really relaxing and there's lots of routines/tips online! I do it every morning possible!

  • The best workout system I know is. Triangle X Square. Reference is ff7. Thus you just stand in place and do squats. 20 squats in a row in 1 min will get your legs burning. Enjoy?

  • Yoga.

    No equipment necessary, not dependent on weather (e.g., running/walking), and requires very little space. Also, it's great for travelers because you can practice anywhere - all you need is your body, which I assume you'll be taking with you.

  • So... homeade workout equipment suggestion...tie some rope or thick string around some of your books and use those as weights. You can run in place, jog the stairs or even do lunges!

  • Any tips on getting work for some part-time freelance film work? It's an interesting scene. I've been doing a lot of wake up, walk to desk, turn on computer, do some editing / scripting for a couple months after graduation and it's getting dull.

    And Gunnarolla is all sorts of awesome.

  • You should take walks! Not just slow, leisurely walks, but fast paced ones around your neighborhood or something :D

  • There are incredible things you can do with limited equipment. For me I love to dance to music for most of my cardio when I'm at home. I'll spin around the kitchen while putting dishes away. A water bottle can work as a light weight.

    Try planks, push ups, v-sits, lunges, wall sits, tricep dips on a low ledge or chair.

    Even a brisk walk is good exercise.

  • there are so many fitness theories, regiments, plans, etc. but i believe in doing what works best for you. i'll share what works for me. your clip of working out using your microphone is actually a good place to begin. i have actually used random apartment-hold items to exercise.

    anything i could get my hands on and do "work" with; for example cans, jugs, chairs, etc.; i lifted. do not strain your body; do work with it. stretching, push-ups, crunches, and a pull-up bar is beneficial as well.
