  • @lif3boats prolly nyan...

  • was this filmed with a potato?

  • All instructors have served, correct?

  • this is the discovery channel doc buds class 234 go find it on torrents

  • for cross country i run 3 miles in 17 mins i think i can run 4 in under 30 mins and im only 16

  • @23ALEX24

yea, well they run in the sand not on flat surface or anything with wet boots and stuff.

  • @thestrongreaper i run up hills and shit but i will start training on the the beach

  • @23ALEX24 good luck bro:)

  • @23ALEX24 yeah you should be able to run 4 under 30, no problem bro! :D

  • @23ALEX24 Probably so. Add boot, camies, and sand and it becomes a whole different ball game.

  • @lwinsanity77 true i'm going to try that and ill tell u how i did ill say prolly 36 the first time

  • @23ALEX24 buds isn't all running. Make sure you are strong in the weight room, a beast in the pool and a workhorse while running.

  • @DiveBum18 true i bench 170 thats pretty good im just need to work on my swimming.

  • @23ALEX24 for sure. keep working hard my man. see you there in a few years. Hooyah

  • @23ALEX24 i know you commented a while ago and you probably heard the same but screw the weight room, do a lot of pushups and situps, run a lot and youll be fine

  • 4 miles?

  • do me a favor. upload a less lag video!

  • Man I want to be a Seal or a Marine! I can't decide!

  • LOL, I heard the minimum requirements are 4 miles at 32 min. The Norwegian special forces has a to run this faster than 26 min. And I thought seals was badass..

  • @iqtuz this is the first run in BUD/S. It drops below 30 minutes in the third phase. And remember this is on top of 3 mile ocean swims and no sleep. The norwegian's run it once. with plenty of rest.

  • @tubedude1438 You have never heard of "forsvarets spesialkommando" I guess S.A.S and navy seal actually recognized them to be the best of the best. There is a reason why the FSK almost always wins the nato exercises(I know exercise can't be compared to war etc, but it is a reminder) And no, the FSK is not fully rested when doing these test, infact, their 2 year training consits of running, running, and running with 50 kilo equipment.

  • @iqtuz yeah and i bet they dont run the 4 miles on a beach.....and minimum 32min. You are expected to go a lot faster

  • @neozeonsolid They run in the woods/mountains. No tracks, just woodland and rocks. Also, their minimum req is 26min

  • @iqtuz Where are your sources for this information? Post your sources for the training standards.

  • @jasonhutchcraft The official requirements other than the first one you meet are secret. You can find _SOME_ of the requirements here:fallskjermjeger.no/spesialjeger-treningsprogram.htm

The reason why I know more than what is said in the source, is because my 26 year old brother works in the department of HJk/FSK

  • @jasonhutchcraft Though, I found the minimum requirements for being a "fallskjermjeger" which is a milder version of the spesialkommando. the running requirements there are 4 miles in less than 26 minutes. Thats on a wood road though, not as hard as the FSK gets.

  • a wild SEAL has appeared........

  • @yourfatassmomma2 Agreed. My best was 15:19 in back highschool, whole new world man.

  • I ran cross country, my best time was 2 miles in 13:30, running 4 miles in 10 pounds of soaked clothes is a whole new experience...

  • I CHOOSE YOU! SEAL!

  • rofl.. all you do on treadmills is lift up your feet... and running on the beach is a whole new scary story.

  • @jimcarreyizdaman1 8.0 on a treadmill does not mean your running 8 min. miles it means your running at an 8 mph pace which translates to 7:30 miles.

  • LOL hilarious when he drops Casey for starting to leave at @ :53

  • Didn't used to be that way but that's how the museum spells it so I guess that's it now.

  • @SgtReap3r Correct, SEa, Air, Land.

  • RUN!!!! goddam i love it.

  • Ryan Hall could run it in under 18 minutes.

He says he can feel Allah flowing through him when he runs.

  • Actually, it's SeAL for Sea, Air &Land.

  • @ramey58 actually no. its SEALs. Its literally right on the navy's website. Get informed.

  • @ramey58 It's most commonly and should be all capitalized though.

  • 4 miles in military boots, pants, on a rough sandy beach in 32 minutes? I bet lots of people failed that run.

  • @MMA3013 actually yes nobody passed, but what chief taylor said 60 percent of people that fails are not going to make through hell week. The 40 percent that failed will be spared, but since it's day 2 they let them go probably

  • @kulehaha 4 miles in 32 minutes whether you're running it on rough sand or on flat ground, even on a treadmil is was KILLER. On the treadmil if you're gonna make 4 miles under 32 minutes you gotta run at a speed of 8.0 for two miles straight, take a one minute or a two minute break maximum and then run two more miles straight again at 8.0 lol. I never got used to running 4 miles under 30 or 32 minutes, I would make the time at 29-31 minutes but it SUCKED every single time I did it badly.

  • @MMA3013 hmm hey i was wondering how heavy is the boots when you run in it?

  • @kulehaha I used to go to the beach and run on the sand in magnum boots which are.....kind of heavy. It's just killer all around man even if you wear sneakers. Awesome workout both on the treadmil or beach, again I never got used to a 32 min 4 mile run lol. I think one SEAL said in a doc he threw up on every 4 mile timed run in BUDs. I don't believe anyone who saids they can run 4 miles under 32 minutes with complete ease, no sweat. You gonna SUCK WIND everytime.

  • @MMA3013 Bro, if you were to run two miles at 8.0 and then rest for a minute, then run another two at 8.0 you would be over 32 minutes by one minute. In order to beat 32 minutes you need to run 4 miles straight at 8.0 without stopping, that will put you exactly at 32. 8 x 4 =?

  • @booniehatairsoft I wasn't even trying to compare myself to them, you have no idea how much I respect these guys, no idea. This is my lifestyle when I grow up.

  • Mswoonc, the guys in the video ran 4 miles in boots and trousers on a sandy beach and having to get wet and sandy in the ocean every couple hundred yards. Also, the test is conducted after hours of strenuous PT. Your claim is impressive but not as impressive as these guys' results.

  • I'm training for the SEALs. And I'm not here to be cocky but just to compare if you want... I ran 3 miles in 16 minutes 45 seconds... What did everyone else get... I'm still not damn proud of the time I got...

  • Adrianlovesaerosmith you have no fucking clue what it's like to run. I'm in cross country swimming and track I run and swim everyday in fact I ran today. 4 miles in 20 minutes. Sound easy hell no I ran in 90 degree weather. I plan to be a seal so quit laughing and accept that you can't do this. Only real men can. Hooyah gents.

  • you

  • lmfao. I'm in cross country. my best is a 25 flat.

  • That is Flat, wow!!.... Now, all the training off screen, deep sand, sea, multi drops many other things... You may be able to do the swim, run, etc. ,But combined , and what phase are You going to drop...?? How bout that bone density thing?? .. Imfao...

  • @AdrianlovesAerosmith YOU WOULD LAST A DAY IN PT AND ABLE TO MAKE THIS RUN.. YOU WOULD WASH OUT IN 10 MIN

  • @AdrianlovesAerosmith youre just upset because your a chick. You have to be wearing pants and jungle boots, you are wet and sandy, you have been doing extreme PT's for the past 4 hours, and the only thing pushing you forward is knowing success means getting you closer to the trident. you have no idea how tough this is and you never will.

  • i would die
