  • That's the same diner as the one in Pulp Fiction, if it isn't - it looks it!

  • This movie is so overrated and stupid. It has gary oldman playing a stupid wigger(This movie made me lose respect for him),bad story, its cheesy, has terrible action scenes, has unlikeable characters, not so badass villians, and a bad soundtrack. If you people wanna see real early 90's gems, watch terminator 2,jurassic park, total recall, true lies, reservoir dogs, pulp fiction, natural born killers,or waynes world.

  • @ihateniggers98100 lol, thats exactly why people love the movie, cause they love the characters. but i respect ur opinion, i dont want to argue with you.

  • @ihateniggers98100 like the other guy I respect your opinion, but it is a cult film so not to everyone's taste, and as a cult film cannot really be compared to the films you listed as gems other than natural born killers I would guess.

I think the characters are the best part of true romance, and Oldman plays an amazing part. Then again, in my opinion everybody in the films acts their parts amazingly

  • " I like you Clarance.., Always Have.., Always Will "

  • i dont get why does she say her turn-off is persians? like the race in general is that whats she's talking about ?

  • @blueberrylove69 yeah I think that's what she means

  • @blueberrylove69 yep, read this on imdb about ten minutes ago actually...

In the diner scene, when Clarence asks Alabama what her turn-offs are, she replies "Persians" in the finished film. Being turned off by her character appearing racist in that scene, Patricia Arquette, who played Alabama, name-dropped a different ethnicity for each take that was shot. She said she wanted to be equally offensive to all people.

  • "turn ons?....mmm....Micky Rourke." great answer

  • This scene and the film as a whole, just oozes cool. That laugh of her's is adorable. She does it again in the scene when she's getting beaten up proper in the motel room.

  • I've been feeling nostalgic lately.... I remember watching this movie when it first came out in the theaters it's funny because it was me and two of my friends we were under age at the time, So we bought the tickets for (Into The West) but the plan was 2 watch a rated r movie it sounds silly now but it was a big thing for us then. Anyways 2 make a long story short they chose Kalifornia and I chose True Romance and I'm glad I did it's one of my favorite movies. And I love this scene!~thanx.

  • Patricia Arquette will always be my favourite actress because of her role in this movie. She will also be always the most beautiful and sexiest woman because of this movie.

  • She said Mickey Rourke is one of her turn ons, Quentin Tarantino on the commentary said that's because he wrote this screenplay in the 80's and at that time Mickey Rourke was the man. He was hot then.

  • You guys gotta see Tarantinos "My Best Friends Wedding" , Clarence Worely was first played by Tarantino himself in 1985. The movies fu%$in hilarious!!!

  • I just visited Rae´s last week. Because of this scene I believe it is the most romantic place on earth. The restaurant is nice, cheap and the service is good. Located at Pico Blvd. & 29th street in Los Angeles. If you like the movie, you gotta go!!

  • OMG!!! Thats a REAL place ??

How fucking KooL is that !!!

  • im so jealous!!!!!!!!!!! did you have pie???? id love to recreate that, go see a treble sonny cheeba then go for pie after the movie!!

im very VERY impressed, my second movie moment would be to go to the cafe from N.B killers and have Ki lime pie, im from London we dont really do pie places!!!

and then maby visit the Titty Twister for a tequila (if it exists)

  • Lol yey me too!

  • LA? Aren't they supposed to be in Detroit?

  • they are in detroit!

  • The beginning of the movie is in Detroit.

  • I love Rae's. Be sure to sit at the counter. Best patty melt I've ever had in my life. Make sure to bring cash, Rae doesn't take credit cards.

  • 1st place I want to go when I get to L.A is Rae's of Pico Blvd. 9 pm. Great food they told me. To the memoires of True Romance. Favorite movie ever. Pika. Katia.

  • ...........FANTASTIC!!!!!

  • I love this movie.

  • I wonder if Patricia Arquette knew this was going to happen?

  • juliettewills that comment was hillerious

  • Just had breakfast at Rae's. Its actually on Pico in Santa Monica and not Detroit like its meant to be in the movie. Great movie and great diner. I had to go there to eat just to see where it was filmed!

  • Damn, now I want to watch the rest of the movie but i dont have it.

  • buy it man, or simply download it from any torrent site, it is absolutely worth it

  • It's better to have a clip from True Romance and not need it, than to need a clip from True Romance and not have it...

  • i fucking love this movie
