Comment all you like, I'm just pointing out that your post was as if she just did the performance. This clip was her first time on stage and over six years ago. She's done dozens of performances since and is nothing like the high school sophomore in this video.

well, i can't really decide if i like it or not. the vocals are obviously good; maybe it was the wrong song because i just watched eleanor rigby and i was blown away. i feel like this song was rushed and a little pitchy. you probably should have performed this in a higher key.

See now, that's what's called constructive criticism. What you're seeing/hearing is dramatic artistic growth. This was Janelle's sophomore year (and first public performance), while Eleanor Rigby was junior year. Check out her performances of Better Be Quiet Now and Amateur from that same junior year Unplugged. Phenomenal.
