  • I support you! You're freakin' sweet for posting this :D

    -Ella

  • The only thing I would add, is that for transgendered people, its not about Sexual Orientation, its about Gender Identity - ENDA will protect that too.

    Thanks for making the video!

  • _YOURFREEGAYWEBSITE.C0M_ I don't see what problems gay marriage would pose on society. Very nice documentary, I can't wait to see more of your work.

  • _YOURFREEGAYWEBSITE_._COM_.

I could totally see Zelos doing this to Lloyd. But Kratos there was a lot funnier. XD You did a great job on the editing.

  • I met Barney Frank a few years back at a LGBT fundraiser/dinner. The man is a RIOT - and smart as hell.

  • Nothing pisses me off more than homophobia, because it's completely ignorant and pig-headed. Fuck those homophobes right in the ear! And don't be afraid to do it good and hard, because we all know there's no brain in there to damage.

  • Totally agree Steph...great video...hope the bill passes.

  • My state is one that it is leagal to loose a job oversexuality. People ask why I moved from California. I say to change Arizona. Someone has to. If not you, then who? I was in a job that I felt the bigitory. I happen to be at a company with lots of gays right now.

  • As always my hero...StephStance...love ya.

  • thanks for that... :o)

  • Good luck with the bill, guys.

  • Gee, I guess they didn't learn anything from the movie "Philadelphia", huh?

  • hell no.

  • Thanks for this vid Steph!

This bill has passed through the House but is expected to FAIL in the Senate so it is essential that everyone call, write or e-mail their Congressional Representatives to vote in favor of it.

BTW, what the bigots and others fail to see is that employers do not need proof of a person's homosexuality to fire them. Just an insinuation will do. So, everyone is potentially a victim without this legal protection, both gay and straight.

  • I agree and I contacted my congress woman today...not that it will help.

  • I noticed some pretty nasty comments on the other video. Just goes to prove theres way too much prejudice in this world, when you can't even have a civilized conversation without being insulted for the very thing your talking about and not taken seriously. But then again this is youtube, and theres a lot of that here...

  • right you are....youtube is loaded with idiots.

  • great video Steph, but I wish gender expression was in there too.

  • me too!

  • Amen, sister!!!

  • Barney Frank is a treasure! This is *one* step in the right direction. It's by no means over yet, but it's progress.

I keep seeing comments about procreation and reproduction as relating to this, and I'd really like to know WHAT THE F**CK making babies has to do with our capacity to hold down a job!

Your last statement sums it up perfectly, Steph!

    Moosie

  • I was getting irritated.... didn't know what else to say..LOL

  • Well, you faked it beautifully. :-)

  • I am shocked this isn't already law! It is where I am. The crappy thing about it is the law still doesn't protect someone from being fired as people will just lie about the real reason! What shocks me even more is there has to be a debate over what is right as fellow humans!! EVOLVE already people!! Can't you see we are ALL connected to each other and EVERYTHING in this world? "We are stardust"... :-)

  • The bill does need to pass but it's a sad place we live in that in order for someone to be treated fair we need to pass a bill.

  • Steph, you are a rock. Even when I don't completely agree with your point of view, I can honestly say your sincerity, frankness, and compelling presentation can be very persuasive. So you're not always preaching to the choir. I happen to agree with you 100% on this one, so I'm emailing my rep right now. Have a great weekend and keep doing what you do best! Love from Colorado!

  • RIGHT FUCKING ON!!

  • The number of the bill is H.R.2015. If you go to the house web site house dot gov you can email your represenatives and tell them you want this bill passed!!!

  • This is just dark ages bullshit. Through my gay family members and friends it is so clear it is as natural a state of being as is heterosexuality. To not understand this is to be a moron in the year 2007. I have to agree with bachrub about the religious wackjobs. I hate that sin shit. I hate it. I want my gay relatives and friends to live in peace damnit.

  • I couldnt believe that they sited "it would infringe on people religious beliefs and their freedom" FUCKEN BULLSHIT, is right!

  • i love the honesty of your videos !

    i hope it passes.

  • Steph, Tell us what you really think! Always informative!

  • Spread the word girlfriend. I hope it passes. Hoorah!!! for Barney Frank!!

  • Thanks for always keeping me informed about these issues...you're an amazing person Steph, Love ya!!!

    (((HUGS)))

  • Wow, I thought this was already part of ENDA,in all 50. I live on the west coast, and sexual orientation has been listed, as part of ENDA, at every place I've ever worked.

  • AMEN! if they fired all the gays, lez and bi's from the UPS where i work... there would hardly be no one there! HAHAHAHA we run the building!

  • I think there are enough people in the world to continue the reproduction of the human race and gays are a minority so I really dont understand the threat we pose to the reproduction of our species.the biggest threat in the world today are white heterosexual men just look around the proof is there

  • It would be a no-brainer and pass like grease out a pig's ass, if it weren't for these religious wackjobs. Dyslexic on top of it. They love the sin but hate the sinner.

  • i find it very annoying that people say don't be racist and be p.c. and so but if someones gay, it's like their fair game to bully, knock down and be unfair too. gay people are just people too.

  • can u not post websites in comments or something?

  • Steph, I truly hope this passes . I have a lesbian cousin that is overeducated for teaching . She applied for a position with a local school and had the job. Assigned to a classroom, etc. Then word got around she was gay and all of a sudden the position disappeared. The reason given was a cutback. We all know the real reason. We can sleep with a different man every night and keep our job but if we sleep with a woman we become unemployable.. It sucks ...

  • Very important message! Thanks!

  • I am in shock that this law exists..

  • Good heavens I am amazed that's not already law I thought America was meant to be civilised? Mind you I have no idea how long it's been illegal for that sort of discrimination in England. Cheers, Lesley

  • If people continue to make anti homosexuality their agenda, they don't have to look at the real problems of the world. It is an escape co for the leaders to keep people revved up. Mean while we are heading for big problems, 2012 December 21st will curl anyone's toes. Till then, Police state, more diseases, stranger weather conditions, and more. Planet X is on the move.

  • Ah yes..the Mayans "End of Calendar: End of Times" but, it's Dec 22nd.

  • we do it b/c we have the intelligence. i alrdy agreed tht procreation requires matter from a male and a female. wht i'm seeing ur point 2 b is tht gay people shld not have children b/c they can not produce them biologically w ea other. that is bigotry johnny. and yes, if u do some research, u will find tht there are plenty of animals on this planet taht are homosexual.

  • and johnny, since i can't add a website, do a yahoo search on homosexual animals. click on the first link.(an article from national geographic) enlighten.

  • You are absolutely right.

  • the ones that fight the hardest to eliminate our rights are the ones that are fighting their own tendencies of homosexuality, they like doing it behind close doors. Bigots, I say.

  • I agree... every person I have meet that accepts homosexuality and is hetro,is not bothered by my GAYNESS (lol). The ones bothered fear their own sexual identity.

  • I know this might sound mean, but some want to keep it to where it's natural, how we are supposed to reproduce, male and female. I have nothing against anyone's sexual preference, but there also asswipes that do and do things deliberatly out of hate. But man and woman is why we are able to procreate. If people are born with genes that conflict, we should accept them as well.

  • Johnny,

natural is what one deems natural. There are many heterosexual couples who choose not to have kids or cannot procreate. Everything is not about having babies, the world is over populated at is. Gay, trans, and bi people pose no threat to the population or lack there off.

  • That word "natural" kills me!Gay people are naturally homosexual, just as Heterosexuals are naturally hetro (or Bi, Trans). It is all natural BUT it natural for people to find reason to be better than!!!!!That is what it's really about.

  • Don't take it out of context, all I as stating here is that the only way we reproduce is because of man and woman. How else can a child be born? You can live free, God gave us free will, but don't deny it takes a man and a woman to keep our race alive.

  • It takes sperm and an egg.... got a test tube???

  • Where does the sperm come from?

  • obviously from a man johnny. a gay man can produce the same sperm as a heterosexual one. therfore, yes, it takes man and a woman. however, the act of 'intercourse' as it were, is absolutely NOT necessary for procreation. just ask Louise Brown...

  • Ok...but do you know any other species on earth, animals, mammals, reptiles or even the dinosaurs that didn't reproduce naturally. I see your point here, but do you see mine?

  • Most creatures on earth reproduce "naturally". But not always via intercourse, and not always male + female fertilization. Many species reproduce asexually. Proof that asexual reproduction is a natural and viable form of reproduction. And as for transgenderism, there are a number of species that switch sex as well. Again, natural. I still don't know what your point has to do with gay employment rights, however.

  • Here are some species that are able to naturally reproduce asexually (parthenogenesis): Komodo Dragons Triploid Checkered Whiptail Lizard Some Scorpions Some Jellyfish Some Starfish Sea Lancets Aphids Honeybees Ants Parasitic Wasps Waterfleas Hammerhead Sharks And on rare occasions, Turkeys
  • Here are some species that are naturally dichogamic (sex changing), or synchronous hermaphroditic (self-fertilizing):

    Clownfish (Nemo)

    Hamlets (fish)

    Wrasses (fish)

    Earthworms

    Banana Slugs

  • Thank you for putting this up and seeking the info out. :o)

  • I just have one more comment to make on this thread regarding the definition of "natural" reproduction. If by "natural", you mean without human intervention, then by definition all forms of human reproduction are unnatural. If your definition of natural is "not artificial", homosexuals can also reproduce the old-fashioned way. They are not sterile. ;)

  • Ran outta room. So two comments. We would have lost many dozens of endangered animals to extinction without artificial reproduction. Is it okay with endangered animals? How about hetero families unable to conceive without assistance? Exactly where is the line drawn? Yes for heteros, no for homos?

  • Oh and we haven't even touched on the fact that there are bisexuals and homosexuals in the animal kingdom. Naturally.

  • human forget that they are animals as well....

  • Who is denying it? You commented on the naturalness of procreation between man and woman, my answer is so, not everything is about procreation. Plus, natural is what one deems natural. Some people where born to breed others where not. That is all I am saying. There are plenty of unwanted babies in the world, why bring more into the equation?

  • It makes their "sins" look less "sinful". People always have to find differences in one another, instead of realizing we are more alike than they care to know. It is part of the lesson we are here on earth to learn, and as long as they keep getting wrong, we wont evolve as a species.

  • i hope in our lifetimes we will see love overcome omnipotent bigotry

  • Unless I have 40n years left in me,I won't see it.

  • Gah this world once again proves its point to piss me off.

Every time I get an e-mail saying sign this petition or contact your representative to support this LGBT bill, I do it. I go into action because we are human. We deserve the same rights as any heterosexual out there.

Stupid fucking conservative republicans and some democrats just need to shut up.

    --Steph

  • You go girl!

  • Alas...such is the way of the world...today.

Minor steps are being taken, but to fire someone based of ANY reason other then piss poor work quality is beyond rational.

  • Thanks for getting the message out!

  • Every little bit helps....... :o)

  • WOW ! That is funny you wrote"Every little bit helps", I DID write that too, but erased it!

So I agree, every little bit helps. Any move forward is a good thing.

  • wow that's bullshit employers can still do that. Hope it gets passed. It's a shame that it has to spelled out and focused on labels by saying race, sex, religion, sexual orientation etc it should be stated as individual's rights as an American.

  • Yeah I thought we were included too but for some reason other think they are more important than others... Them ass holes!! lol

  • Once again Steph thanks for the information. Knowledge is power.

  • Knowledge is power!the fight goes on.

  • i had no idea someone could be fired because of sexual orientation, how ridiculous. thanks for the info steph.

  • Ooh yeah... I remember the 1st time I was sfired because I would not go out with my boss because I told him I was a lesbian.I was 17

  • ENDA sucks!!! they took Trans out the bill...bah!!!!

  • It is a start.....

  • its should include ALL LGBT not just LGB i agree it needs to pass most definitely BUT with T included!

  • They will get it in there....you will see my friend.

  • hope so :-) got friends over stateside willing this to go through, im hoping and praying every day

  • Steph, do you know whether or not West Virginia is one of those states and where that type of info can be found? Great vid. :)

  • You know what I can not seem to find that list of states but I do know it is done in my great state of Texas... :o(
