Why don't people understand Citizens carry registered guns, criminals don't. Historically the best way to take over a country is to disarm them, so only the powers that be have an army with weapons and subjects are defenseless.

@Jewzabel I cant think of many states at all that require you to register your guns. Maybe new york, maryland and cali. Most states dont have any registry. Mine actually states its illegal for any state or federal agency to attempt to operate a registry in our borders

@Mr1mcg-Did you see the guy from Amnesty International say "The U.S. Citizen does not have the right to use guns the way they see fit". He must not have heard of our Constitution. There is a link at the top of this page titled "U.N. troops in America doing Marshal Law Drills". In my opinion unless we get more people like Ron Paul in office, not just the presidency but in the CONGRESS, America is lost.

In the last century over 150 million people were killed with weapons possessed by governments. In the US on the average 12,000 people are killed guns each yr.. That equals 1.2 million people century. Who exactly is it that should be banned from the ownership of weapons? I'd dare say it is government. Nothing about the UN is good. It is a coalition of tin pot dictators that think they can use the IMF to facilitate their goal of global governance. Keep dreaming, one day your heads may roll, UN.
