  • Eric Kretz from STP used to use this cymbal when he played Paiste cymbals. He now plays Zildjian Cymbals.

  • Would this ride be ok for pretty powerful playing like metal or grunge ?

  • @Vernondrummer ...definitely yes! This cymbal is loud and the bell kills your ears if unprotected... I also had a 22" 2002 Power Ride which was also loud, but not as loud as this one. Never heard the 22" Signature Power Ride though...

  • I've got stuff recorded with the 22inch version of this, look up for Hijack Tanta Bestia. I play it mostly with the hi hat but I rock the bell in a C section

  • Great cymbal!I use one in my setup!!Awesome live and in the studio!

  • HOW COULD THEY DISCOUNTINUE THAT!?!?!

  • sweeeet. want it badly.

  • Crashes terribly

  • @29Drum

...do you think it's part of the sound? :-) Seriously, it is an old (1988) Pearl boom arm - one of that really heavy 1" boom arms with a heavy counterweight... don't know the exact model nr.

  • They sound like shit to me. I have one and it's way too loud and rings way too long.

  • Have the same. Lovely cymbal, sadly discontinued by Paiste, don't understand why.

  • I've got mine today! best ride ever played!

  • Awesome sound! But too expensive ride..
