  • It's a shame that this video has so many dislikes. Clearly, some people are not going to let reason and truth get in the way of their hatred.

  • no wait, Olbermann's canceled. Maddow DID fuck Olbermann w/ strap-on tho

  • Does Rachel Maddow fuck Olbermann in the ass w/ a strap-on during commercial breaks?

  • Kieth Olbermann: the homosexual's advocate. I want to just put my fingas down my throat right now!

  • Keith Olbermann, u are a fake, obnoxious, hateful, elitist, mealy-mouthed, piece of fuckin shit. I would like to burn u alive, u NWO lover.

  • Wow, this is great stuff. Kudos to him.

I have no idea why this has so many dislikes. Did some bigot website direct a bunch of traffic here just for that purpose?

  • I hate when people say homosexuality is wrong because it isnt "normal" to be gay. I am 6'5", a larger ammount of the population is gay than is 6'5 plus. Should they chop my feet off?

  • What else can be said, he speaks from the heart. but this is a sad, petty world, and just because most "straight" people are in an unhappy marriage doesn't give them the right to deny basic rights to anyone else.

  • Is there anyway the president of pmsnbc can commit this guy?

  • Why does this have so many Dislikes? I can't wait for the day when religious bigots are a minority and this country is known for its reason and intelligence. I'll be waiting for a while.

  • @silverdonut don't worry. most of the bigots are old people. most of them will be dead in 10 years or so, to be replaced by today's kids, who don't care about whether people like their own gender, the other gender, or both.

  • I cant stand this guy and in this case he is 100% correct.

  • He makes good points!

  • what...why hasnt someone said, niger yet! EVERYTIME, an issue about this administration and issues...racist say the N word. shows u that its just that, a hatred in print and its applied whenever and without reality or thought. No issue should be about race or religion.. this is prime example

  • Who do You Want Guard Your Little "Lambs" a Wolf or the Shepard...?

  • Who do You Want Guard Your Little "Lambs" a Wolf or the Shepard...?

  • if god wanted a man and a man or a woman and a woman to get married, the y didnt he put it in the bible

  • The bible was written by religous leaders trying to increase the numbers of their followers. How ? Reproduction. The bible doesn't state that marriage is between a man and a woman but it does state that it is sinful to touch the skin of a pig. Ever play football? It is implied in the bible that while husbands are away at war their wives sleep together, yes sexually. It was approved at that time.

  • There are plenty of things I hate. But do I parade the streets and vote against other people's rights to enjoy things I don't enjoy? No. Nobody is forcing you to marry a member of the same sex, so what's the problem? If other people want to, isn't that their decision? Why should you have a say in other people's relationships? Do we all get to vote on whether your relationship should be recognised?

  • Down to that level? That was definately a bigoted comment. Why do you feel homosexuals aren't your equal? By what right is marriage between a man and a woman? BTW, until 1967 there were states where inter racial marriage was still illegal and all of the states didn't remove it form their books untilt he 1990s, thus the African-American reference. A majority has dicated marriage terms to a minority before and it is immoral.

  • Your a good man for speaking up!

  • hmmm... given felons and non citizens of this country are given the right to be married here. Theses are people who don't even have the privilege to vote.

  • Mr. Olbermann speaks Plain Truth about this subject. There is no more reason to deny marriage rights to the GLBT population in this nation than there is to deny these same rights to interfaith and/or interracial couples.

Those who spew homophobia here are simply BIGOTS. They're no different than the average Klansman - the hatred directed against homosexuality vs race. The homophobes are just Klansmen with gay hatred instead of race hatred. They're a stain on this nation's reputation.

  • @bikaren1980 wow youre good at psychoanalyzing more that 50% of california voters

  • @jsgoodfella - Actually the comments about being homophobic are in reference to those that are posting here, not to the California voters. Try reading twice and posting once next time. BTW, it was only more than 50% of voters on a particular proposition, not of all eligible voters or even those that voted int he general election.

  • @jsgoodfella

It doesn't take psychoanalysis to recognize bigotry, hatred, fear of the "other", and homophobia. Religion does NOT have a place in this nation's lawmaking process any more than the government has a place in making rules for religious organizations. Those who want their bible to rule this country should stop and consider if they want the government in their religion.

  • @bikaren1980 I don't believe religion should have a place in lawmaking either. I personally believe that the government has no interest in recognizing and regulating the institution of marriage (both hetero/ homosexual).

However, many religious people believe that homosexuality represents a broken way of life and consequently as voters these people naturally refuse to put their stamp of approval on gay marriage. Accusations of bigotry are tiring and silly.

  • @jsgoodfella 1 - One who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices

1 - One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

It need not be meant as an emotional appeal; by any lucid definition of the word "bigot", those who vote against gay issues and especially marriage qualify as bigots. This of course puts them in exceedingly bad company, but that unfortunate fact does not change the truth.

  • @jsgoodfella

Your statement that "many religious people believe that homosexuality represents a broken way of life" shows that their opinions are based on their religious beliefs, not on what this nations stands for. Equality, equal rights, and freedom transcend all religious beliefs and are secular ideas - not religious ideas. When a religion teaches that homosexuality is wrong, it is teaching bigotry. Accusations of bigotry in these cases is not only appropriate, but correct.

  • @bikaren1980 @bikaren1980 The question here is whether people who believe that the state has no interest in regulating and issuing marriage licenses for gay couples are bigots because they expressed their preferences through voting.

Simply voting against STATE recognition (NOT A RIGHT) of such associations does not entail bigotry. Many Conservative Christians, at least the ones I know (I am not a Christian), did not care what homosexual couples were doing before Prop 8.

  • @jsgoodfella

Legislating that a gay couple in love who want to marry may not do so is bigotry EXACTLY like the laws which forbade marriage to an interracial couple in love who wanted to marry back before those laws were struck down as unconstitutional - because those laws violated the civil rights of the couples in question.

Recognition of gay marriage confers upon the partners the LEGAL RIGHTS to things like health care, etc. that they would otherwise be denied.

  • @bikaren1980 I have no problem with the gays, but if they get the right, then why can't people marry direct family members? If you liberals are as peaceful and unbiased, then you won't vote down my comment. Also, how can people deny that he is such a hateful person?

P.s I know that Fox is biased, but so is MSNBC. Every station is.

  • @RockinAlpacaLord

You're equating 2 things that aren't related at all. Gay marriage is NOT inbreeding. Why do you want to marry your sister, Alpaca? There are scientific (Yes, Science - that scary stuff.) reasons to prohibit inbreeding.

Olbermann is sticking up for an oppressed minority. If you think that makes him hateful, then you're not very bright.

Finally, I'll vote down ANY comment which is nasty, bigoted, and/or stupid - including yours when they qualify. This one doesn't qualify.

  • @bikaren1980 They are both the same concept of marrying who you want. It's legal to marry your first cousin in many states, which is wrong. You should either take down that law or let the gays marry. Also, many gay people are afraid of commitment, and use the no gay marriage thing as an excuse. Most don't even truely want to marry.

  • One of the best speeches on rights equality I've ever heard.

  • Beautifully articulate and profound, I agree with everything he says - well said keith olbermann

  • I am thankful that California Voters were able to have their say in this matter and that they stood up for what was right against great pressure.

  • what was RIGHT?? LOLOL i LOVE how you ignorant BIBLE BEATING motherfuckers think you are RIGHT. other HUMANs getting married and FUCKIOGN each other in teh PRIVACyof THEIR homes DOES NOT AFFECT YOUIN ANY SHAPE OR FORM! Your BIGOTRY and ignorant views on LIFe were surely passed on to you by your IGNORANT parents. GOD.. and THE BIBLE are MAN MADE. that is 100%FACT. in the BIBLE.. it is also ALLOWED to OWN SLAVEs and it asks WOMEN to be subservient to men.

  • i LOVE how you ignorant BIBLE BEATING motherfuckers think you are RIGHT

    ===

How about those of us who are:

    1. Not ignorant

    2. Not Bible Beating

    3. Not fornicating with our mothers?

    What of us?

  • I haven't seen anyone here who is opposed to equal civil rights but isn't ignorant, you included. Why do you feel you have the right to restrict the basic civil liberty of marriage from one group of tax paying Americans while the same is not being done to you? Under what Constitutional Amendment do you draw this right? Since you are so well educated and wise, please educate us with precident and tell us why a minority isn't being oppressed. Tell us why this is just.

  • I have not seen anyone here opposed to equal civil rights at all.

As for the "basic civil liberty" of marriage, these are already restricted. Don't imagine for a second that it is not in Society's best interest to regulate such things... we have done for centuries. There is no need for a constitutional amendment, for example, to keep a sister from marrying her brother.

I do not know of any minority being oppressed.

  • other HUMANs getting married and FUCKIOGN each other in teh PRIVACyof THEIR homes DOES NOT AFFECT YOUIN ANY SHAPE OR FORM!

    ===

Heh...This reminds me of an Ali G bit.. where he asks someone if its ok if he abuses animals in the privacy of his own home.

But just so you know... Proposition 8 had nothing to do with outlawing or banning anything done in the privacy of a home.

OK? Are you clear on that?

  • YOU are ANY other BIGOT does not have teh right to tell ANYONE ELSE who they CAN MARRY.. TRUST ME>. it WIL BE LEGALS to marry in CVALIFORNIA.. it will be done.. mark my words.. MAYBE YOU and the rest of teh NUTJOBS who have nothing better to do can actually take up a REAL CAUSE>. like HOMELESSNESS>> POVERTY>> CRIME>> youknow REAL ISSUES> you clear on that babe?

  • WRONG AGAIN.. you are 100% IGNORANT> you are kidding yourself if youthink that your VIEWS on GAYS have not been TAUGHT.. you expect me to belive that???? Nothing you say to this pointhas made sense AT ALL! you lack logic.. youmake as much sense as those HILLBILLY REDNECK motherfuckers with no education.. who HATE NIGGERS> their hatred .. like yours has no merit and is not based on anything true or real. and again something thatis TAUGHT.

  • So if the marriage is a private ceremony done in someone's home it is legal? No? But I thought you said...Prop 8 reaches into someone's home and says "you can not have the same legal rights as your neighbors". Until every state has same sex marriage we can not have federal marriage and the 1,138 federal marriage rights that heterosexuals enjoy and that affects people in every room in their house.

  • THE BIBLE are MAN MADE. that is 100%FACT. in the BIBLE.. it is also ALLOWED to OWN SLAVEs and it asks WOMEN to be subservient to men.

    ===

Thanks for sharing that. But it has nothing to do with Proposition 8.

  • bible and GOD have nothing to do with 9/11 umm GEE STUPID I wonder what religous NUT JOBS were doing when teh VOTING took place.. I mean besides DONATING MONEY to PRO 8.. again.. IGNORANT

  • The bible is regularly used as an excuse of supporters of prop 8. It can't be brought into this discussion and then dismissed when it is being used as a tool...worse a weapon. Christians are being misled and told they are going against God if they don't vote against Gay marriage. The bible asks us to love one another and do unto others as we would have them do unto us. As a Christians it makes me sick to see the bible so misused.

  • I should have said... I supported Prop 8 -- my bad.

  • The 3/5 rating shows that youtube is full of homophobes. I fully agree with everything he's said in this since the day I saw and faved it when I saw it on someone's political blog. I've got nothing else to say, because he's said it all already.

  • I agree. Fully.

It's like saying homosexuals are not allowed the rights that married hetero's are. It's RIDICULOUS. Emphasis on the DIC.

I hate marriage. I say hey! let 'em just as unhappy as all you married people.

Not saying EVERYONE is unhappy in marriage, but the majority of you married couples are. Even if you don't admit it. You are.

  • LOL Agreed!

  • wow

  • Just because his arguement is faulty, the point isn't. We, as a Americans, have the constitutional right to the Pursuit of Happyness. Be that marrying someone of the same sex or pursuing a career. You cannot deny this fact.

  • "Even if bigoted people think gay individuals as abnormal"

that was the whole reason i first responded to you. all i wanted to know was how it was bigoted to say gays are abnormal.

when the entire exchange starts off with you not even being able to concede this most basic point without repeatedly distracting then its clear you are so hell-bent on 'winning' that you have absolutly no interest in any sort of honest dialogue.

  • If you want to get into an argument about homosexuality in and of itself, then you are talking to the wrong person. I have my own personal and private views on this issue.

I am not affected by your silly comments as you think me to be. Why you make those remarks in the first place are your own motivation.

  • 3. Bigotry isnt criticizing someone in a debate. Hardly. Its characterized in this sense when people work to actively usurp the rights of a select group of people which does not include oneself, solely on personal beliefs and values. Genocide, the holocaust, slavery all had the components of one group of people imposing their beliefs on another. True, each had their own reasoning, but it is a paranoid delusional and illogical reasoning that motivated each of these people, as it does you.

  • 2. 2.The only time Government has the right to interfere with this is when the rights of others are threatened. Animal cruelty is why we dont allow bestiality, incest and polygamy are self explanatory. Not one right of yours is violated when Jack and Joe get married. NOT ONE. As I said before, and which you left unanswered, there is no standing constitutional precedent which allows this.

  • it was not unanswered, you just got so uppity after my 'bugchasing' remark that you completely ignored what i was saying. the fact that married couples receive certain financial benefits, there for it does effect me and everyone else who pays taxes. those very financial benefits were specifically designed for hetero families with children.

now whether or not gays should get them is up for debate, but you are unwilling to even acknowledge or concede who/what marriage benefits were made for.

  • They were made for partners who would make decisions on a joint basis, and to be treated by the government and private institutions on a joint basis. Death benefits, estate benefits, employment benefits etc.

For families with children, there are extra provisions and benefits. Depending on states, some homosexual couples can adopt children also.

You are no more affected in your taxes by infertile hetero couples or hetero childless couples by choice than you are by homosexual couples.

  • 1. You speak of human beings as being abnormal. What is normal? Genetically, people are made different from each other. Thats just human nature. I'm not saying that there is a gay trait. Blacks, whites, jews, gentiles, mentally retarded, physically deformed are all abnormal in your definition, depending on what group you fall in [what is normal to yourself]. You cant have it both ways. They are all guaranteed equal rights under our constitution in some cases even afforded more rights.

  • If you are honestly trying to argue that deviating from the most BASIC natural law of reproducing with the opposite sex is not abnormal, then i guess hermaphrodites and hydrocephalics are also 'normal' right? come on...

your linear thought process simply reduces the argument to a pissing contest.

you can try to broaden the discussion to distract from conceding this one specific point, but 'my definition' not taken out of context is simply: heteros are normal

  • Yup!

  • Comment removed

  • A little message to all those who voted for or support Prop 8:

    FUCK YOU.

  • the right wing is the most hateful there is

  • Gosh you're life isn't a happy place is it :-(

  • That was a great comment on the subject. Pretty much sums up all the reasons why it's ridiculous to be against legal gay marriage. Hopefully someday everybody will have equal rights.

  • I cant believe people fell for KO's phony baloney theatrical speech. He's just trying to win an Emmy award to save his Titanic piece of crap show, and there's no better way than to tug at the heart strings of the poor picked on gay community. "All they want to do is love and youre not going to let them". Pllleeeze! KO is so transparent in his delivery that I could hardly see his feigned expressions of deep compassion. Or maybe that was due to my throwing up. I need some KOpectate.

  • It's not about Keith Olbermann 's deleviery or sincerity, his feigned or otherwise expressions of emotion...it's about the content of his commentary, it's about simple equal rights for all people. I'm not American, but I am familiar with your constitution...and Thomas Jefferson's Declaration of Independence famous words ..."that all men are created equal." Then live it...don't just mouth the words. In the greater scheme of things...your comments are pretty damn petty and small minded.

  • Are gay's allowed to marry in Ireland?

  • Soon. The Bill has been published and will be introduced by the government during the next session. Should be law before the end of the year.

  • That should give hope for those gay Americans who want to move there and live happily ever after.

  • Hee hee hee you bigot...not for long...the CA Supreme Court is prob going to over turn the result...and, you stupid person, Prop 8 isn't a "law" it was an instrument to amend a statute. Kknow what you're taking about before you make a fool of yourself.

  • Do unto others? Then why doesn't he take his own advice. The advice he gave George W. Bush... "shut up and resign."

Right or wrong on the gay marriage issue, Olbermann is still a jerk.

  • America. Marriage isn't about sex, it's about love. Stop thinking between your legs. Marriage isn't about what you put where or who you do it with or whether or not you have kids. Marriage is about two souls making an eternal commitment to each other. To provide and care for one another. That is love. That is marriage. I think we can all acknowledge that gays can love. That is the definition of marriage. Love. Pure and simple. Now Let them be.

  • I love the argument that the problems caused by the liberalization of marriage (and divorce) laws justify further liberalization - a.k.a. The Britney Spears argument.

  • Natural embryo flushing and miscarriages arent abortion. Making a concious decision to kill the fetus IS abortion.

  • No one changed the definition until prop 8 was pushed through.

  • Wrong!!! ... the Supreme Court changed the common understanding and execution of marriage for their gay friends. Good that Americans had the sense to vote to preserve marriage and not have to resort to arms against a recalcitrant court.

  • Then you need to look up the original definition of marriage.Educate yourself before you spout off your nonsense.

  • Suggest you re-enter the real world and not your computer. Amazing what delusions, rationalizations, justifications and excuses your lot will come up with to try to debase traditional marriage. Grow up Mr 20years going on 5!

  • I live in the real world. Not one where people who Selectively follow a story book are considered sane.If you think you live in the real world you're sadly mistaken.I'm done wasting time with "people" like you. This ridiculous tosh will be overturned and we will be just as equal as anyone of those opposing it.Just try and not cry too much when it happens.

  • Just as I thought...vacuous life with no connection to the past and no clear sense of the future...you're not taking society on your twisted journey. Anyway you lost.

  • I didn't lose.You temporarily won.

  • Again you need to look up the definition of Marriage. And thankfully people like you don't have the final say.

  • fuck your dumb didnt you just listen to what he said? so according to you, all knowing person , men and woman only get married to have children? ignorant fool gay and lesbians want to get married cuz they love their partners and dont want feel ostrocised for doing so. I'd like to see what your opinion would be if you were on the other team. your ignorancy amazes me honestly.

  • 1) If marriage is about children, how do you feel about hetrosexual parents who knowingly cannot have children? Are they to be denied marriage, would you accept that if you were unable to have children physically? Do unto others...

    2) Marriage is about the coming together of two PEOPLE who love each other. Gay, Straight, A-Sexual or whomever it doesn't matter!

    3) I hardly think that two gay people getting married and not-procreating means an end to humanity - marriage would make no difference.

  • Ha. People like you DISGUST me. If anyone is corrupting the definition of marriage, it is YOU.

How dare you classify them as PERVERTS. So fucking ignorant...

Anyways, you seem to be the one focusing on sex. I'd classify you as more of the pervert.

    PROP 8 = PROP HATE.

  • This was to Edzikozi.

  • At 16 a young person is unlikely to understand the marriage institution deeply or understand that across societies and cultures, marriage law preferences the procreative aspect of heterosexual marriage and is reserved for fathers-and-mothers to maximize the number of persons born into society. It is also the safest place for children with best outcomes for health, wellbeing. Parents are the primary educators who provide a balance of nurture by both genders for socialization with both sexes.

  • Edzikozi... can you prove that a mother and father are better than two mothers? No. You can't. Yet I can quote many studies and psychological institutions that endorse gay marriage and families and gay addoption. Why is being gay so much worse than being a Wiccan or just selfish. The Bible preaches against those things to, but you allow the greedy and the sloth to get married... why focus on this small group?

  • Edzikozi - I am not going to pretend that my age doesn't inhibit me in some way. However, I believe I understand enough to state a valid opinion. To state that we need marriage because we need children isn't really that compelling. We are facing overpopulation of our planet. The needs of yesterday don't match the needs of today.

  • "At 16 a young person is unlikely to understand the marriage institution deeply or understand that across societies and cultures"

Bullshit; 15 and 16 year olds are perfectly capable of understanding complex political issues.

  • Regular marriage provides the model for children to similarly marry later on and raise their own children. Gays need to acquire same-sex adoption rights in order to take someone else's children! They are already trafficking in children in India and Asia off gay web sites using surrogacy which is then no different to slavery. Get the facts and get informed before supporting your same sex social experiments!!!

  • Now, here is where I get mad. This is pure homophobia, whether you believe your homophobic or not. You group all gays into one common category and disregard heterosexual crimes of the same nature. The only thing you've based this statement on is that fear. And it's quite irrational. If you're so devoted to ending child abuse, you'd be better off fighting child abuse itself - instead of equating homosexuality with pedophilia.

  • Also, the Netherlands have had a legal form of gay marriage since the 1980s. To say it's an untried social experiment is wrong.

    In the Netherlands since...

-The national suicide rate has declined.

    -Promiscuity amongst gays has declined.

-The rate of AIDS/HIV/other STDs amongst homosexuals has declined.

  • "Regular" Marriage...hmm I see. that would be "Regular" marriages where half of them fail? Now explain again how 50% of something failing, along with spousal abuse, child (your own) abuse is a model for anything? You're a small-minded unhappy little person really, aren't you?...I wonder what we'd find if we examined the IP trail out of you're computer.

  • What can you do? democracy worked but not in some peoples favour just accept it you cant cry foul when the result doesnt suit your views democracy doesnt work that way.

  • what did slavery and racism teach you?

  • Another case of changing the name and giving it a makeover.

First it was prohibition. Now it's the drug war.

First it was segregation. Now it's "civil unions".

Seperate but equal. Those who don't learn from their past mistakes are damned to repeat them.

    America is perpetually damned.

  • Because the government, shitty music "artists", talentless celebrities, and big corporations have had monumental success in keeping the public from reading about their past mistakes; or at least not giving a shit about the past. (public school/education)

  • What if we, so-called "leftists", decided to make bigoted statements illegal, what will all you people do? You would all shout "Unconstitutional".1st Amendment. And you would be right to do so. Because this country is run by one document. The Constitution. You wouldn't be spewing out Bible verses. Read the preamble. Stop using the Bible as a means to make laws in this country. We are not a theocracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

  • Rights should not be voted on...What if California decides to make homosexuality illegal...What happened to all those people...do you put them in jail...Isn't that what they did in Germany in the 1940's...They made into law the illegalization of people's very existence and essence. This Prop 8 thing is another step toward illegalizing homosexuality. Since homosexuals don't have a specific country...what will they do to them if their very existence is illegal? They can't deport them? IT is wrong

  • Comment removed

  • Hahahahahaha! Propostion 8! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    HHHHHHHHORRIBLE! HHHHHHORRIBBLE!

Horribly awesome! Prop 8 for the win!

  • Homophile. Will someone tell me please, please where in history was SSM ever the norm?

  • This man makes an extremely compassionate statement....i praise him for his compassion, maybe christians should take his example...i think that is what Jesus taught, compassion!!!!

  • The "haters" already won. Its up to the opposition to change hearts and minds but they would rather be right than HAVE their Rights.

  • haters, please kill yourselves. thank you

  • Don't bother debating this on a youtube comment wall. Everything you say will get lost in time. Instead, join the debate at LivingVote (dot org). There's an active Prop 8 debate there right now, and it will get preserved for everyone's benefit. It's still early so you can get your opinions in now.

  • If Prop 8 Precludes a Iranian Style Theocracy then 4 Rogue Judges determining the Culture of a society overuling the votes of the people precludes a Stalin Style Socialist Republic.

Thats so alarmist! Its niether, Prop 8 passing was simply Democracy at work.

  • "Prop 8 passing was simply Democracy at work"

Segregation was simply democracy at work!

The Equal protection act prevents the majority voting away the rights of minorities

  • but not when it comes to the innocent child in the womb right?

  • First you have to convince those people that Gays are legitimate minorities.

  • "First you have to convince those people that Gays are legitimate minorities"

    1) They are a minority in the population

    2) They are naturally gay

That pretty much sums up a minority. Now please; explain to me how gay marriage affects heterosexuals

  • the LGBTQ community caused 9/11

  • alwaysbored00 there is a difference between BELIEVING that people are wrong and making those beliefs the LAW OF THE LAND. I have every right to believe that African Americans are inferior, but should I be able to vote on their rights? What you did was wrong.

  • Prop 8 is only the most resent evidence that the US is racing down the tracks to Iranian style theocracy. I just hope we can find the breaks real soon.

  • Proposition 8 was so sensible that even californians knew to vote for it.

  • "Proposition 8 was so sensible"

Except for the fact it wasn't and all the reasons for it were entirely religious

  • It was so sensible that even people from a hippy-dippy state, one of the most leftist, secular states knew to vote for it. It was commonsense, and straight-forward. Unlike your liberal partisan dogma and ignoring of the facts (i.e. life beginning at conception has been a fact in embryology for the last 20 years)

  • "It was commonsense"

In what way? I don't see anything sensible in preventing a loving couple from marrying

And you're misusing the term "left-wing"; that only applies to economics

    "life beginning at conception"

What is morally wrong with destroying a single cell; it has no thoughts? The point where abortion becomes a bad thing is when the foetus develops a mind and before 20 weeks there isn't a hint of anything other than reflex actions

  • after 5 weeks the thalamus (back of the brain) begins forming. after 7 weeks, the pain receptors begin forming. After 18 days there is a separate beating heart. See, this is why liberalism is a joke. Gays support splicing open unborn babies and throwing them into the garbage but yet they want me to give a flying fuck about their right to marry? Show me a pro-life gay, or someone who is both pro-life and pro-gay marriage, then maybe I'll take you seriously.

  • "after 5 weeks the thalamus (back of the brain) begins forming. after 7 weeks, the pain receptors begin forming. After 18 days there is a separate beating heart"

A brain does not indicate a mind; there are plenty of animals with much more brain power than a foetus yet you have no problem killing them

"Gays support splicing open unborn babies"

You'll find the main proponents of abortion are heterosexuals. Should heterosexual marriage then be banned?

  • Show me one single pro-life gay. Until it happens, I dont give a fuck about their human rights.

  • "Show me one single pro-life gay"

Show me one single lesbien who has had an abortion. And gay Buddhists, Christians or Muslims (yes, they do exist) would probably be pro-life

"I dont give a fuck about their human rights"

Then you're a fucking amoral sociopath aren't you?

    "the LGBTQ community caused 9/11"

I thought I'd heard all the ridiculous conspiracy theories but this is the most insane one yet

  • it doesnt matter that gays are guaranteed not to have an abortion. every single fucking one of them pays lip service to the abortion holocaust. I cant have sympathy for people who intrinsically support baby death. Killing babies. Thats what sounds sociopathic to me. And yes they did cause 9/11. The muslims have traditional values and they see socially liberal indulgences (i.e. gayness) and thats what feeds the rage and causes things like 9/11.

  • "The muslims have traditional values and they see socially liberal indulgences (i.e. gayness) and thats what feeds the rage and causes things like 9/11"

The thing which "feeds the rage" is the US support for Israel. And punishing the gays for the actions of terrorists is ridiculous; it would be like persecuting the blacks because the KKK went on a killing spree

    "baby death"

When do you class it is a baby? It certainly isn't wrong to destroy it when it is a zygote or embryo. So when is it?

  • No, US support for Israel isnt what drove 9/11 to happen. It's the Islamic world being provoked every single day by things like the abortion holocaust, and so-called "gay marriages." As for the KKK comment, the two aren't comparable. Let's not confuse someone's behaviour with someone's race. It's actually racist of you to put them in the same boat. They're not in the same boat, not even in the same ocean. 2% of the population's behaviour isn't analogous to someone being black or hispanic

  • "US support for Israel isnt what drove 9/11 to happen"

Yes it was; Osama Bin Laden stated it himself and the US is looked upon as "zionist" by extremists

"Let's not confuse someone's behaviour with someone's race"

Let's not confuse sexual orientation with choice

"talking about a unique genomic character and 46 chromosones"

So? The human genome is a chemical; it doesn't think and it has no feelings; they develop long after the brain

  • Im so sick of you leftists and your anti-semitism. Half of your conspiracy theories involve the Jews and your theories are rooted in postmodern fantasy, rather than fact. Of course Obama is going to try to get the Jews involved, he hates them because he's a Muslim. And sexual "orientation"? LOL. I'm so sick of gay propaganda. As for you not giving up on supporting the abortion holocaust, thoughts and feelings arent what makes you human. Its denying the unborn child the chance to develop

  • thoughts and feelings which is why its a tragedy and an act of murder. And again, the anti-baby position is inherent in same sex attraction disorder. Just like in atheism. Atheists and gays just cant respect Life. They just cant get the point. Other than Christopher hitchens, nat hentoff and james mattew wallace, all atheists support baby death. If they didnt, I would take them seriously when it comes to their arguments about why God doesnt exist. and i would take gays seriously too

  • "Its denying the unborn child the chance to develop thoughts and feelings"

If it has no thoughts and feelings then why does it matter? You should only be against abortion at that point if you are a total vegan. If you were I would take you seriously

"Atheists and gays just cant respect Life"

Here it comes; the whole "atheists have no morals argument". It's obvious your opinion on both gay marriage and abortion is entirely religious and has no place is secular law

  • no, i never said atheists have no morals. in some matters they do. in fact, deep down everyone is pro-life because we all get shocked and upset when we see a pregnant woman drinking or smoking. anti-life pieces of garbage are just people who don't know that they're pro-life. And my point is that atheists just cant get their heads around the pro-life ethic. The orgasm is the first sacrament of atheism. And the second is abortion because it secures easy access to the first.

  • "The orgasm is the first sacrament of atheism"

There is no "first sacrament". While I am an extreme libertarian there are atheists who would disagree with me and hold much more conservative stances

"Any pro-life gays out there reading this?"

Any gay who has ever had an abortion out there reading this? Your reasons against abortion are clearly religious as before a brain develops there is no level of consciousness

  • if the concept of a born child is a real concept, why cant the concept of an unborn child be a real concept? at the moment of conception there are 46 chromosones and a unique genomic character. Its human. Get over it. I realize you probably have a personal stake in this, but Im sorry that I cant be responsible for your behaviour. I was an atheist for 3 weeks and still pro-life then. In fact one of the things that brought me back was seeing how anti-life alot of atheists are and it was disgusti
