@cobalt100 The very first burning man in San Francisco was actually a statue of this guys girlfriend, so when she broke up with him he and a bunch of others got together and burned all their loved items that they wanted to let go of. so its not so much burning MAN as burning the idea of any form of possession, mental or physical. just a name to help people grasp a much greater concept.
