  • Ridiculous!!

  • This is a messge from hevenly father. DON'T BE CRULE!!!!

  • ahahahahahaahahn what crap

  • “But even if we or an angel from heaven (moroni) should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, curse be on him!” Galatians 1:6-9 Mormon’s are not prepared for the coming apocalypse, Huge Sorrow will be to the mormon who refuse to see the truth, You have been warned your fall will be great. Read the BIBLE ONLY!

  • @imationqwest There's a problem: we don't teach another gospel. We teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. In fact, the Bible teaches there are other books that aren't in the Bible. Besides that, the Book of Mormon is prophesied of in the Bible.

  • @majinish I know and im Catholic!

  • @majinish I dont hate mormons, i just dont believe your book of mormon, if it were believable were wouldit lead anyone or how would it help, christ is all there is and your complete belief and knowledge of christ come in the torah and new testament. So the book of mormon is not even valid. I've read it, terribly hard read,"this is the account of Morni and his lineage" and it just goes on like that forever. Just believe in christ.

  • 0.32

    Is that Brian Austin Green?

  • @CelesteK Yes

  • I suppose this means that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints officially supports, "The Dukes of Hazard County". (of course that only proves they are inspired).

  • What bis a VCR?

  • When does this commercial date from? I am guessing early to mid 1980s.

  • Mormons are nice people

  • Proving once again, lighting a candle and talking will not make you Christian

  • The Mormon Church of LSD... I was an addict because I was mormon.

  • @rellshon99 don't worry too much, something tells me that families that hold bigamy to be inherent in their doctrine have as many if not more arguments than you ever had with your family.

  • Comment removed

  • @rellshon99 It may be that peace and the varying degrees of disturbance to that peace cannot exist without each other. Also, I don't see why the situation put forth in this video is particularly Mormon, there are plenty of families that have moments like this without the need for any specific religious doctrine attached.

  • @imrepohl true...a lot of families do have these moments so it is wonderful to see that some people like this family can still exist. God bless you my brother and be blessed

  • @rellshon99

That "family" was a group of actors, friend! It was just a COMMERCIAL!

  • Comment removed

  • @imrepohl

Even Reinhard Heydrich was portrayed by The Third Reich, as a loving "family man", back in 1940. And, he really WAS a good father, who loved his children! So, all this shows is that a whacked out fanaticism for a cult does not seem to deter a good father from still being a good parent, in the home: even if Heydrich showed such a loyalty towards [THE leader] that he would do anything "the leader" asked him to do: rather like Mormons!

Now, bow your head and say "yes"

    That will do!

  • @rellshon99

Yes, this "family togetherness" is possible, in that religion. But, then I remember some of the old "news reels, of the 1950s, not long after the end of World War II: showing large rallies of good, loyal (and happy) Germans--all 200,000 of them--all happily following that "pipe dream", of their Leader-dog Hitler.

Oddly, all those Germans really looked HAPPY, too!

MOTTO: Get in sync with the program, and "you can be happy, too"

SLOGAN: "Have it both ways: at McMormon's!"

  • @orlovna2 ok thanks man have a nice day peace

  • Omelets in your heart and mind!

  • Cut the power, convert to Mormonism.

  • @Childinfaith

Cut the power; cut the umbilical; and run like Hell!

  • KILL ALL MORMONS

  • @stevecoldsteve what a newb spammer.

  • wow.....pretty evil.....

  • People don't have time for this kind of family unless they plan it.

  • Some comments made about this video seem to be made with bitterness and resentment; surely this can not lead to anything good. A wise man once said "Bitterness only destroys the soul who harbors it." Such comments to me, seem to be drawn from a shallow pool of knowledge concerning the subject. To make informed commentary about anything, one must go to the source and discover for themselves.

  • @MrShaunet Your face is a conformed commentary, you momo.

  • @majinkenshinamv Please, the world needs understanding not narrow mindedness and hate. Besides you might give away a little too much regarding your maturity and intellect with comments like this. Take care and have a nice day.

  • @MrShaunet The world needs a lot of things it isn't going to get. I like your cliche stance and the zealous elitism you emit with your almighty attitude. Try harder next time to not be so apparent.

  • @majinkenshinamv The line between idealism and realism is sometimes a difficult one to draw, yet we draw our own. It is a weak individual indead who follows the croud and does not forge their own destiny and hopeless is the state of one who has no dreams and goals. I just think that if we try a little harder idealism can become realism.

  • @majinkenshinamv Please don't think that this is a sign of one you thinks they are elite, you couldn't be more wrong, I'm just an average person trying to help make the world a better place for my family. Take care.

  • @MrShaunet Notice that you say "Besides you might give away a little too much regarding your maturity and intellect with comments like this" which is an obvious attempt to make a comeback, yet you preach that the world needs less hate and that you are trying to make the world a better place. You are basically giving into your human nature but trying to cover it up with a "have a nice day" at the end. It's much more sickening when someone tries to cover up the realistic nature inside.

  • @MrShaunet BTW, I highly doubt you are forging your own destiny, but good luck with your paper sailboat.

  • @majinkenshinamv Well this is getting out of hand, I think it better for both of us if we stop. I agree that my comment may have been a little harsh, I'm sorry for that, I did mean it in jest, I should've been more sensitive. Thank you for that, I have learnt from this interaction. I hold no malice and was just enjoying the intelligent to and fro and perhaps got a little carried away.

  • @majinkenshinamv I will let you know though that all comments, bar that one, that I have made have been generalized and not directed at you, for I could not possibly make a value judgment on you with what little I know. We could both take a lesson in blindly drawing conclusions I think.

  • @MrShaunet I was just messin with you, I think you are kinda cute.

  • @MrShaunet

There was a Black guy, in another YouTube video, who was a member of another, different cult. He said the same thing YOU are saying. The "good followers" all claim that the ONLY reason for leaving their cult was "bitterness".

What you equate with "bitterness" reflects da thinking of dat dufus, Dallin H. Oaks, who said, "Don't critique anything that I, Dallin, may say, to you: even if it is wrong."

(Hint: If Obama says, "I am YOUR servant", why the stiff-necked Oaks nonsense?"

  • @orlovna2 Precisely my point, thank you for making it so eloquently. Incidentally many of the people I know that have left this church are in no way bitter. So I really don't know what you are getting at there. Whoever has supplied you with this information is wrong. Some who leave are bitter, but the overwhelming majority are not.

  • @orlovna2 My point was that most of the comments that I thought had an air of bitterness came from people that knew little about the church and its origins and the comments were made in ignorance.

  • This sure is from a long time ago yet the principles are as relevant today as they were when this was made. If you spend time with your family in the atmosphere of love, respect and kindness you will reap great benefits whether you are a member of the church of Jesus Christ of LDS or not. No one should think that because we share messages such as these that we think we have the only way to obtain a happy family. This is not true! Yet we have principles that can assist in such a wonderful way.

  • so cheesy surely people are now smart enough to look into the sky and know that there is no god

  • the snake is very deceitful.the serpentine has lied

  • Over the years we have all been lied to by many false Religous Leaders and so called prophets. Many things we have been taught are not even in Scripture and millions have swallowed so many lies by these false leaders. If you are a truth seeker please visit the web site which is displayed in our user name and take the time to read some of the articles... You will be very shocked.

There is a great audio there for you to listen to. You will come away asking many questions.

    Blessings

    Thanks Ben

  • reminds me of south park

  • hey is that a young brian austin green??

  • lol this made me lmao

  • This is actually cute I love it! As cheesy as it is, it is true, talking is something that these days with all the cell phone, computers, etc, etc it almost takes having the power cut off to realize there is more like simple communication.

  • this mustve been made like a long time ago lol never seen it before.

  • no honestly guys i dont hate mormons at all

i love them as fellow human beings

but im sick of having to open my door 30000000 times for them every day they knock

i hope theyll stop coming over

  • maybe god is trying to send you a message lol. let them in and listen next time and you might figure out why we have missionarys. (:

  • LOL ive been letting them in for ages

    thats the problem

    im way to kind

    but yea

    i wanna be left alone

  • It gets annoying after a few times, i don't care if "god" is sending me messages let him/her come personally to me :).

I agree with MarvelDCComics i'am way too kind too and all i want is to be left alone with my life even if i do end up going to "hell", atleast i know am living life to the fullest and no chains to hold me back.

  • @MarvelDCComicsHero

GET OUT YOUR GARDEN HOSE OUT and hose them down!

(They do not take the word "no". The word "no" only means "maybe", to them!"

(Hose 'em down: and chase them off!)

  • @orlovna2 I had a couple come to my house, they were aright guys and i kept it cool, i told them where i go to church, then the guy says,"why are we here". I said i cant really say, he said our church has the one true answer, u ask god and he will tell u" Then throughout the conversation he would ask me what church i went to and when i asked him back he said the "one true church". These guys were argumentative and rude in the end. Mormons are holier than thou type, hypocrites.

  • Like the informercial, dislike the people airing it.

  • I'm not crazy about this one, but I remember a couple of really cool LDS commercials. One was a girl going through the stages of life. "Looking through the glass..." It had a dream-like feel about it.

I'm not a Mormon. I just liked the commercials!

  • Okay, it was "Julie Through the Glass."

    Song written by Carly Simon.

The director of the commercial went on to do the movie "Glory Road."

  • jesus is just a phony baloni scam white people made up along with scientology. Ala is our true saviour. also in Ala said jesus gave hand jobs to local men for whine for his magic tricks. your praising a homo, but a good magician.

  • @DeezFunkyNutz

APPARENTLY, you haven't seen much of The Reverend Doctor Jeremiah Wright (not to be conrfused with that "other" Revernd Docotr Dufus: Jesse Bite-my-Ass Jackson). BOTH of those guys have a "Black Jesus" who they worship.

  • Its all about family. In the 10 years I have been a member through example I have encouraged my family to re-think the way the speak to each other and about each other. With love and kindess, respect and dignity. I don;t know a single human being who does not want these universal principles in their lives.

  • I joined the LDS in 1981 and have been a member ever since. And, I have to honestly say, it is a decision that I have not regretted. I have enjoyed the importance of family, which the church promotes highly on, and it has helped me gain an appreciation for my own family and helped develope a great relationship with my wife as well.

  • 1 Nephi. 9: 16

16 And assuredly, as the Lord liveth, for the Lord God hath spoken it, and it is his eternal word, which cannot pass away, that they who are righteous shall be righteous still, and they who are filthy shall be filthy still; wherefore, they who are filthy are the devil and his angels; and they shall go away into everlasting fire, prepared for them; and their torment is as a lake of fire and brimstone, whose flame ascendeth up forever and ever and has no end.

  • nice of your to notice! You'll find lots of closeted mormons that like Erasure. Could that be you? Come out, come out where ever you are!

  • You favorited Erasure who are openly homosexuals and Sinead O'connor who is opposed to all religion. You will have to do better than name calling when your personal tastes are that of the wicked and ungodly.

  • Though I dont agree with his statement that Mormonism is evil you also have to see that homosexuality isn't evil. No one chooses to be gay. It just happens. It surely isn't "ungodly".

  • People are born blind. It doesn't mean that they shouldn't cope with that disorder, and make means to overcome.

  • AMEN TO THAT!! ive studied it enuff to know that it is and here's a tidbit....why is there siimilarities in the satanic bible by anton levey? and the name of the church is can be found under the infernal names chapter...

  • i meant to say "is and can" be found....

  • These commercials just make me lol

  • Hey, its a young David Silver from 90210!

  • SWEET!

They were watching the original Gone in 60 seconds!

    :D

  • the 80's were cool

  • and ivite the spirt of Christ into our home. I know my that the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints is true and I would encourage all who realy want to have a better relatioship with their family to look into the Church. It realy has made life much better and happier and I don't want to say these things in a way that would offend any one but I had to say something so that people knew the truth wich is not what others have said here.

  • Further more we are not like the family in that comercial. We ski together and boat togehter. We have dinner together every night and my dad always trys to get me to talk about my day and most of the time I don't want to but I am thankful to have a dad who cares enof to ask. The church teachs that familys are essential for God's plan for us on earth and he wants us to be happy. Every Monday night is family night and that is when we especialy fun activites together

  • lol I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In other words I am a Mormon. I am one in a family of 7. My dad and mom (only mom and wife to my dad) have been happily married for 18 years. I love every single member of my family dearly. That is not to say we do not argue. I am the oldest girl and 14 years old. It makes me verry sad that people have such disstorted views of my religon which really is my life. My home is one centered on the teachings of Christ.

  • The Mormon Church breaks families up, induces fear, hides its adulterous antics of its founder Joseph Smith,Hides the polygamous marriages of teen girls to old mormon cult leaders.

It runs a almost like a totalitarian organisation,This commercial is sick and made to look family friendly when in reality they will break up your family.

  • I think you are confusing our church with the FLDS church. We do not practice polygamy anymore, and child abuse in any form can result in x-communication, as so can the practice of polygamy. Reguardless of what you may have heard, church members are normal everyday people. We go to work, go to school, and participate in the community just like any other American. You probably come in contact with mormons that you respect everyday, but just don't happen to know what their faith is.

  • jen You practice Spiritual Polygamy in the Temple .A mormon man can seal additional earthly wives after the prior one dies, in the expectation of having multiple wives in the next life/ressurrection.

A female mormon cannot do this.

I spent two years very active with my local ward.Check out my Joseph Smith - Head In A Hat video.

  • I'm with you on that one joseph. But i think these people are right, you are confusing FLDS. A renegade sect that broke away because they couldn't get enough incest sex. They have strong feelings about samesex marriages.

I think it's because it decreases their chances of inbreeding.

  • bugmenot The FLDS broke away because they saw the LDS church bowing to mans laws like wimps. They effectively continue what Joseph Smith and Brigham Young started and Polygamy of young girls to OLD Priesthood men is simply an Exhaltation process.Which of course happens to have benefits for those old men.

  • Its disturbing right? Their using relgion to make pedophillia okay.

  • Well yes , Joseph Smith was the chief architect of using religion to make disturbing things ok.He had his followers provide him what he needed and wanted, he had them build a house for him, he told them he shouldn't work but be a full time leader and suported financialy by them.( all in D&C) and he took their wives from them and daughters also.

  • Did anyone notice the boy who was playing the video games was Brian Austin Green?!!!! ROTFL!

  • Does anyone remember the one where the kid's in class and he's like "what's the capital of North Dakota" and the other kid's like "i will not cheat!"

  • Um...

Does anyone have the commercial where the guy asks the girl if she would consider dancing with him and she says yes, and he says "really? you'd dance with me?" and she says "no, I said i'd considerate it, and then I'd say no". I like that commercial.

  • Read the Chick Tract about the LDS.

  • Oh yeah whatever. The Chick tract is a complete 100% distortion of the facts!

  • I'm well aware of mormons and the renegade sect. But if you think that piece of trash warren jeffs is a prophet like Jesus, then i hate you

  • Once again Warren Jeffs is not our prophet. That is The FLDS. I'm LDS. It's two different sects. Get your facts straight genius. So whatever I'm not going to even bother explaining it to you. well you wouldn't compare Catholic to Baptist now would you? No! Why? Because they are two different religions. Warren Jeffs Church is a different religion and has nothing to do with the us! Two different religions. Really you need to research before you run your mouth cause it's obvious you don't know jack

  • do you fuckin' even know what a "Prophet" is dumbass. it's someon who has spoken to God and delivers his message. I don't think the almighty will give messages of pedophillia.

    P.S. you need a girlfriend

  • Oh my christian God! i'm not a genius, my IQ's 100, but compared to your cluelessness, ignorance, and stupidity, i'm friggin' Einstein

  • Oh, and as a reference to Stephen King's latest novel, YOU HAVE A PHANTOM BRAIN!!!!

  • is that David from 90210! what a dork! and his name is david in this commercial!

  • What a bunch of shit! "Brings family closer" Yeah, in an orgy! The "church" of latter day saints teachings is apparently "technology sucks!" "you can't have too many wifes, running out? marry your niece!" "be a fuckin pedophile!" I mean, WTF!, they say you got to hell just by disobeying warren jeffs. I think God can understand not listening to Satan's soon-to-be bitch. And for all current members, for the love of God wake up!

  • Warren Jeffs is the Prophet of The Fundamentalist Church genius. Do research before you say things! You have no clue what you're talking about

  • You married your underaged niece didn't you?

  • That's the fundamentalist that do that. I'm a member of the true Church which is The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. We don't do that! Get your facts straight and do the research dipshit before you run your mouth!

  • Antony1985, I appreciate the message you are trying to put across, but to be an example of your true beliefs, and as a member of the church, do you think that your presentation could be a bit better, a little more Christ-like. He does teach us to be tolerant, doesn't mean we have to agree.

  • Calm down, Warren Jeffs doesn't belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints which shares the message in the video

  • I'd seen this ad years ago. It has a wonderful message for us. There's a lot of unfounded criticism of the LDS Church (especially on parts of the web). If you'd like you can take the time to find out what this church really is -- I humbly submit to you will find it wonderful!

  • Is that David Silver "Brian Austin Green" from 90210?

  • I THINK ITS ALL A CROCK OF SHIT

  • LDS - all based on mystical translations Joe Smith supposedly did based on tablets he found but that later disappeared. People will believe anything!

  • Do you all have nothing better to do than insult a church you have no clue about? This message is a very good message. Don't knock until you tried it

  • prophets are imperfect, don't follow a person, follow the Holy Spirit whom Jesus said to follow!! (New Testiment) :)

  • Very heartwarming, I like this commercial a lot.

  • Maybe someone else has already mentioned this, but does the older brother look familiar? That's Brian Austin Green from 90210!

  • And mormons think that Maroni was a Holy Ghost. I've been to a funeral of someone who goes to The Mormon Church. Duane Smith, who was with the shit boys.

  • If families were to actually spend some time together, talking to each other and helping each other, we wouldn't have so many idiots out there doing idiotic things.

  • sorry its bisto advert it should be 40secs long

  • type in arrr bisto in you tube simler thing :)

  • When did the Mormans start doing infomerercials?

  • We use the slang "mormonadds" The are not what is called a Public Service Announcement. To answer you question some time in the early 1970's.

  • JESUS call you to come to HIM

PLEASE LEAVE THE SECT FOUND BY MAN AND SATAN

    J.SMITH WAS A false PROPHET

    last prophet(israel) JOHN BAPTIST

AFTER JESUS PASSION AND RESURRECTION we all are calling to BE SAINTs...

was J smith Saint? search his life..........

  • Actually John the Revelator preceded John The baptist by some years. BTW your claims of Joseph Smith are the same the pharisees toward Jesus Christ.

  • St JOHN IS AN APOSTOL, A FOLLOWER OF JESUS

please do a reserch on what you believe its NOT your fault ...

but yore in A SECT its not even a RELIGION

  • I love this ad! It was one of my favorites growing up, and I wasnt even a member then

  • yeah, that's sweet, but . . . . THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!1!!!

  • "yeah, that's sweet, but . . . . THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!!!!"

Perhaps not in your family. The power frequently goes out when we get particularly nasty storms in the Kansas City area. There is nothing to do but talk by candlelight until the power comes on.

  • ... the dad referred to something scouting related... im going to shoot myself. mormons ftw, BSA ftl

  • Carlton!

  • ROFL foolish

  • The old-school church logo rocks.

  • Yes! Brian Austin Green. I remember these commercials.

  • I love this commercial.

  • Heavens to Betsy! This is just a family feel-good movie! Stop the quarreling! Please!

  • Well in the UK we had a similar style of advert however it was about BISTO gravy!

  • I am a former member of the Church of Jesus Christ and latter day saints. I came to the realization after researching mormonism and Joseph Smith as a prophet of God that it was all a made up fairy tale. There was no Golden Plates. It's all a real good story and that is all it ever will be.

  • Whatever, there were golden plates found in 1945 in Turkey. That's 100 years after the death of Joseph Smith.

  • cool video

  • Great message. Too bad those who have so much hate in thier lives can only make negative comments to such a great inspirational topic. But, that's them and they probably won't change, so I will just comment that This is a great message and a commercial that really is effective. Thanks for posting it.

  • Robbj:

This is a typical LDS Propoganda ploy; label those who dare voice dissenting opinions of LDS as "Hate Mongers". Those kinds of labels are used because LDS rebuttles to LDS's opponents are so shallow & shot full of holes.

  • you got a right to your opinion.

  • Yes, and your replies and labels strengthen the validity of them!!

Thanks!! I have two investigators coming over tommorrow evening. I'll be sure to show them this!;-)

  • Strengthens the validity? Come on... surely you don't believe that. You may hope that, or fool yourself in thinking that, but realy your opinion is just that... "Yours". Don't get so caught up in your opinion that you won't look at the possibility that your opinion might not be truth.

  • RobBJ:

"Caught up in MY opinions??" Sounds like you should take some of your own advice. YOU were the one who labeled those who dare disagree w/ you as being "Hateful"!!

Once again, you strengthen the validity of my opinions, & reinforce the hypocracy of both your beliefs & those of LDS!!

  • RobBJ:P "Christ Like"?? Remember; JESUS WAS a REBEL!! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN?? THAT'S PART OF THE REASON PEOPLE WANTED HIM KILLED!!

Your self righteous arrogance is an abomination in The Eyes of God!!

  • Holy shit! That kid who took a scout trip was David fucking Silver! I always thought David Silver was Jewish....

  • Maybe it was even Brian Austin Green OMG

  • i have a friend who was " born " into a mormon family and raped by his father , he had to run away to get away from these pricks/ you are a rapist cult you pigs/ i curse every step you take / cast into hell filth!! youll burn and ashes be scattered over belials cursed breath/ fuck you!!

  • Wow, I guess you feel that way about ALL religions. Each of us has our own free will to do what we choose, unfortunately bad things happen to good people. The LDS church, nor any church should be held accountable for what one person chooses to do.

  • you can not hold a whole church accountibal for one messed up person i am sorry about your friend but the father definetly does not reflect the church in any way and he would have been excommunicated.

  • The LDS church has a much nicer way of teaching than the Jehovas Witnesses who use fear and religous blackmail AKA "follow our religion or your not gonna go to heaven and u will burn"

  • Jehovah's witnesses do not believe in people going to heaven, and they do not believe in hell either...

  • just to let you know latter day saints do believe you can go to heaven, there are no Jahovah's witnesses but there are missionaries

  • Really cool!

  • Nice family thoughts
