word of advice... NEVER EVER ride ANY ride once it breaks down at least one time during the day or you might end up being next to sit!!!!!!

@steve2848 no it was removed because it obstructed the veiw of the front guide assembly... so as a result of the incident it will never be put back on.

Thanks for posting this video. I worked there for a short period in my youth. The computer that controls the ride won't let a train enter "block zone 4" (The area with the geysers) unless the station has an empty spot for it. So it stopped the train at the block brake just after C lift. This wasn't a break-down per se. The computer was just being extra safe. "Cascade faults" like this are almost always caused by a train not leaving the station on time. (human factor)

Why did they have to winch it? Did it not stop in the brakes right? You would think that once the station is clear it would just release the train.

1 you can hear the wolf howling in the backgroun and 2 you can just see the other train in the top

This happened to me in paris August 2007. But I got stuck in a tunnel near the end where the fake bats are. When we got to the end we got a round of applause!

That sound would not be heard from the haunted mansion. If it is the same sound, I think the noise is coming from this ride.

Not true. There is a large loudspeaker outside the Haunted Mansion on the hill behind the gravestones you pass as you enter. The howling wolf sound plays every minute or so. You can hear it from anywhere on that (west) side of the park if you listen for it. The only place inside the ride where you hear this sound is in the graveyard scene. Its coming from a "demon dog" on the left side behind the tree.

its isnt broken down. they probably just put a new piece and is being tested out slowly so they can make sure the ride will be ok to operate. or it is a new train.

I was on the ride when it broke down. The train stopped on that block. About 20 minutes after this the ride opened back up.

@bronxbombers787 the train is being winched up the hill because it stopped in a non resettable part of the track. once it is winched up to SB3 they can push the train to BZ4 :) gotta love it! hahaha it was porbly an intrusion or power disconnect...
