The last show of LHOTP when they blow up the whole town was the worst thing EVER! Why did Michael Landon do that? They could have kept the sets as a tourist attraction. What a bummer. I'm sure it's all apartments or houses now anyways

They blew it up because michael landon didn't want anyone to try to make new sequal's or anything. Therefore he thought that the best way to prevent that was to blow up the city. Yes, it was a very sad episode, but it will ensure that no one will ever try to re-make Little House on the Prairie =)

Gosh- Michael had gray hair already at the end of Bonanza. Must have been the 4 pack of cigarettes and hard alcohol he drank for years. I really miss him. He was so entertaining on Little House until the show jumped the shark after Laura and Almanzo married
