I don't think they could have found a better voice for this than that of James Mason. Such fantastic artwork, too. It all comes together wonderfully to tell this classic, dark tale.
Edgar Allan Poe is a timless man. His works always leave me with chills and dark apreciation for him. I am a huge fan and always will be. After hearing the story for this one millionth time, I believe i will go read my book of Edgar Allan Poe's compleate works. Dark tydings to all. ;) <3 <3 <3
@sugihara725 we read it like a text and the way that he wrote it was very weird so im trying to figure out , i have alot of question and things that i didnt understand , it would be great if we team and find out what is exactly happend
Gaah, I'm writing a screenplay for this story for English class. I'm not done, but I wanted to see what others did with it. Actually, the ending where he's in the prison - I already had a similar idea just like that. I liked the art, but they simplified the story A LOT. Not saying simplified is a bad thing, but its different then mine cause i'm going by the book. Wished they used the phrase "much such a sound as a watch makes when enveloped in cotton."
I recently published my book and if you're into Khalil Gibran and his messages about humanity, or other writers like Thoreau or Orwell, you will most probably enjoy the messages in my poetry too. Specifically those of Part 1, and Part 3. I would appreciate it so much if you could take a second to check it out...
we read this as a class in school today and it is my favorite short story ive read at that school!! and ive been there for 9 years! it has the best suspense!

I read the poem by myself and at school in 8th grade. I also watched a a short film of the poem and that was scary too. I read on Wikipedia that the main character of the poem has neurosyphilis, but I am not sure.
