  • I don't think they could have found a better voice for this than that of James Mason. Such fantastic artwork, too. It all comes together wonderfully to tell this classic, dark tale.

  • @sugihara725 me too!

  • @sugihara725 me too

  • @sugihara725 we read it like a text and the way that he wrote it was very weird so im trying to figure out , i have alot of question and things that i didnt understand , it would be great if we team and find out what is exactly happend

  • @sugihara725 I saw it in reading lol.

  • James mason has that Vincent Price-ish vibe in his voice

  • Gaah, I'm writing a screenplay for this story for English class. I'm not done, but I wanted to see what others did with it. Actually, the ending where he's in the prison - I already had a similar idea just like that. I liked the art, but they simplified the story A LOT. Not saying simplified is a bad thing, but its different then mine cause i'm going by the book. Wished they used the phrase "much such a sound as a watch makes when enveloped in cotton."

  • I watched this in my english class its great

  • @lulzATyou2

    me too!!

  • you guys find this creepy? i find it awesome :)

  • This thing made my heart pound like CRAZY... It seemed like it was in my throat... And I had goosebumps going over my body like a wave.

  • Fucking sublime!

  • Just because it's set hundreds of years ago doesn't mean the quality has to show it.

  • This guy is too cool

  • i watched this when i was 9 and i was terrified!

  • am I the only one who read the story and thought a woman was the one to kill the vulture-eyed man?

  • Edgar Allan Poe had such a great mind, this is my favorite of his works.

  • i thank my english teacher for showing me poe

  • I always thought "the beating of his hideous heart!" was that of the narrators, and he had mistaken it for that of the old man's.

  • @TheDeetin Just as yourself

  • The "beating of his hideous heart!" speech gave me some serious goosebumps.

  • This is gonna give me nightmares. TTTTTTTTTTTTTATTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • Watchin this made me feel evil..

  • Thumbs up if you were suppossed to "read" it

  • I got chills. Wonderfully done!

  • I recently published my book and if you're into Khalil Gibran and his messages about humanity, or other writers like Thoreau or Orwell, you will most probably enjoy the messages in my poetry too. Specifically those of Part 1, and Part 3. I would appreciate it so much if you could take a second to check it out...
