  • Brian Olive. Europants. Next Week.

  • PK kicks ass on those drums

  • Was that Jack? He did a good Aussie accent!

  • @mance02 It sounded more silly then Aussie to me.

  • @chasspeed haha. oh really? He always been a funny dude. In certain interviews.

  • They're gonna be in Houston this Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fucking awesome

  • @SolidSoldier01 Thanks, I just saw them again at SXSW a week ago.

  • @chasspeed I swa them like a week ago and i got pictures with them!!! craig is so weird and patrick is like a very big little boy ^^

  • this is technically history

  • oh this is so good,,thanks for posting

  • killer recording

  • @concertnoisseur Thanks.

  • Crap. Living in Houston, I don't know what I was doing on 9/14/01 but should have been there listening to this.

  • these video recordings of these shows are legendary

  • @jns0512 Thanks, but I don't think that many people have ever watched a concert that I filmed.

  • yea, they are good, but I still think Jack always wins, but this is how the stripes and everyone started and its time to get back to our roots

  • really love this, just found these guys, always heard jack talk about them in interviews but didnt look them up, wish i knew about them when they were touring, touch on the animals which i love proud to see that there are or were a few bands that have done our generation proud. So many suck nowadays.

  • I've had trouble digging Dead Weather. They're certainly not a bad band but I miss the Greenhornes.

The Teeth, The Greenhornes and The Dirtbombs all together was definitely one of the best shows I've ever been to.

  • I also thought they seemed like an Animals or Yardbirds type band at a time when there was nothing else like that around.

  • @badjackbrowning5 - Agreed. I miss The Greenhornes

  • the only badass in this band is craig fox

  • Wat about Jack White???

  • False. Little Jack Lawrence is king of the badasses. Every band he is in would be lesser for not having his badass bassery.

  • God, I love the Greenhornes!

  • This band just oozes sex and the 60s...

  • same thing...... :P

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!!!! The Greenhornes are the fing best band!!!!! Jack White taking Jack Lawrence w/ him is trying to capture a tiny fragment of this sound with Dead Weather but it can't even touch these guys ALL TOGETHER playing THEIR sound. Love em love em love em. Please someone get them back together to tour.

  • Thanks. I did put up a Part 2, but nobody ever watches that one.

  • Dead Weather is awsome tho

  • "People up front please move to indicate that you ARE alive" JW

  • hahaha

  • lol yeah sure you make a better band

  • You are fucking retarded.

You don't know shit about Jack White.

  • 5:20 lol

  • Listen to Dual Mono. All of their albums are great, but in my opinion, that one's the best. Amazing record. Desert island, one album...that's my choice.

  • The Greenhornes' first album was pretty cool. Never really got into their later stuff though.

  • Every one of their albums is raw power.

  • Jack White yells at the catatonic crowd in a funny voice over the P.A. system. Brian Olive is probably the black haired guy you are talking about and he was an original member of the group. Why doesn't anybody ever read the descriptions? It answers all these questions.

  • kk, thx. There so many descriptions where's nothing in, or just "wow" or "amazing". I'm not used to read this anymore.

  • I just put up 10 more minutes of the concert. It's basically the first 10 minutes of the show, even though I'm calling it Part 2.

  • Little Jack is giving those drums hell!

  • That would be Patrick...

  • Actually that would be Patrick Keeler, Jack Lawrence plays bass.

  • I noticed something else when after Jack yells @ 5:26; Pat does a little drum roll; the kind after every joke

  • I didn't notice the "rim shot". I'll have to watch it again. Thanks.

  • Thats so bad ass of jack 2 do that

  • greenhornes = awesome old school shit! very nice, looking forward to the new album.

But what has this to do with jack white? dont tell me that this black haired guy is jack white!

  • nope not at all. there all friends. The white stripes played after them at this gig. The bassist and drummer are now in the Raconteurs with him.

  • i know that keeler and lawrence are in the racs, but who is that black haired guy standing on the left?! Dont know him! And what means P.A?

  • P.A stands for "Public address system" - if that's what you're asking...

  • lol patrick keeler kinda looks like jack from 2003 on the drums THIS IS AMAZING

  • so f'n good

  • patrick keeler is the modern day mitch mithcell.

  • His drumming style also reminds me of the drummer of Procol Harum.

  • Hell yeah, it does!! Both of those guys are fucking awesome!!

  • @d00derson oh fuck that's just what i was thinking !!! the only one that makes me feel like that when i see him play drums is mitch mitchell my fav drummer with patrick keeler and dave grohl

  • WOW is that a Fender Jaguar??? O.O

  • yeah... nothing wow worthy though. they're not that uncommon or rare.

  • but it definitely looks nice

  • it sure does.

  • ya johnny marr uses like 5 of them now, but your right there still like amazing jsut to see

  • pk is such a great drummer

  • what guitar is that guy using?

  • Nice version of Hard Times!

  • I miss themmmmmmmmm.

  • haha

Are you sure that's Jack at 5.26?? It sounds completely unlike him unless he's got really good at accents

  • I'm pretty sure because he said the same thing when he got on stage during the White Stripes set. I think he was just putting on a silly accent.

  • I haven't seen the Rudyards show in ages, I remember it being pretty cool and I do remember Jack chastising audience for not movin to the Greenhornes but I'm still not convinced

anyhew thanks a lot for the upload bbug! (this be Teletom)

  • sweet

    could Craig look more bored?

  • The one time during the concert I saw him crack a smile was when he took off his jacket (he had on a Monkees T-Shirt) and the bass player played the opening notes of "I'm not your Steppin Stone".

  • WOW! Garage party deluxe...Great footage thanks this jump started the weekend
