  • Panda Cloud AV or Microsoft Security Essentials?

  • How this GesWall+Threat Fire+Panda Cloud. Thinks thats good protection or not??

  • yes Panda cloud antivirus is better in resources and detection but it is better at protection when it is the final vertion

  • Panda cloud antivirus is the best not the beta but the final vertion

  • Why isnt avira there? its awesome.

  • eset IS good since it includes a lot of extras, but for plain antivirus software PANDA is good, as you can see from the review.

  • @Peku

If you are stating that AVG is one of your top 5 anti virus software, but your saying that it is horrible. Isn't that just conflicting statements?

  • mcafee 2010 is out now.

  • so? mcafee sucks, please dont try it

  • Top 5 anvirus!

    1. AVIRAAAAAAAA!!! Best detection rate and guick scanner!

    2. Microsoft security essentials! Very good protection but bad scanner

    3. Avast! Good anvirus :)

    4. Panda cloud anvirus! Its not the best

    5. AVG Antivirus. Worst anivirus ever. Dont trust this program!

    Sorry my bad english :))

  • soo Panda sucks i just watched your COMODO preview and i think it is way better than this here it caught everything panda has holes i don't like it . Amm question which security programs do you use on YOUR pc

  • Comodo is a Firewall, HIPS, and AV together (and you can install what modules you want). It is difficult to directly compare it with a simple cloud AV. The Comodo AV is mediocre, but the HIPS makes up for it. I have heard rumors of ethics problems at Comodo, but I am still somewhat skeptical....but I have stopped using Comodo security products.

  • Panda Cloud is really good. Just a few in this test got through, but come on if something like that pops up on your screen and you click "RUN" then its only yourself to be blamed!!!

  • Panda Cloudantivirus is the best free antivirus out there!

  • Cmd.exe and PING.exe were made from the third test if you look at the task manager

  • Ehhmm, Matt, i watched all of your videos, but what do you recoomend for a good, safe, nice, easy Anti-virus that protects against all Viruses? :S Please Reply !! =/

  • Watch his video "How to remove Malware for free".

If you are too lazy, he recommends MalwareBytes, Avira AntiVir Free, and SUPERAntiSpyware.

  • Avira Free, Avast, and microsoft security essentials are all good. I run MSE instead of Avira. For complete ease of use, I would recommend microsoft security essentials. Avast is also very good for an AV that has no heuristics at all. Panda is good, but MSE is out of beta.

  • Actually, Avast usually detects almost as much as Avira, but I still use avira because of it's excellent detection and heuristics without any "cloud!"

  • Hmm, i use KIS 2010, and i think its great.

But i think it is a little ODD, it always says:

    "Hidden File" in Scan(full)

I check the file, and it is Call of Duty4 Folder or Firefox Folder. Plus, the "Radar thingy" in "My protection" tab, it always shows some Riskwares and trojans, viruses, so i dont understand why. :S And i don't know what KIS does to them..... =(

  • Does it show you are infected? are they quarantined? It is most likely a false positive if it is in your games folders. Firefox too.

  • i personaly use 2 things:

    panda

    malwarebytes pro

    works awsome

  • Hey , found a new program you might wanna review? Called Escan. Well it's not new but nobody did a review on them,

  • hey record in reaal HD LIKE WIDESCREEN 19:9

  • hey matt, ever though about doing hardware reviews like vid cards, mobo, cases and etc?

love your software reviews but would like to see hardware reviews from time to time

  • If you dont have your PC connected to the net then you cant use this software it after you download it. Fuck cloud crap.

  • very good videos :) thank you for uploading and testing and showing :)

  • hmmmm, should i try this url's with my registered version of malwarebyte's anti-malware????

  • @MisterHeroy

no coz no AV/AS/AM can block/remove every malware on the net...

however, if u know how to use sandboxie or any kind of virtual program u can try at ur own risk...

  • ok,... then no.

  • mrizos can you do Avast! 5 beta review? Please! :D Sorry my bad english

  • i can not wait for the new version(on there blog, they say that ver.5 will have heuristics)

  • vista suck win7 rocks,

anyway nice review Matt, keep up the good work!

  • vista doesnt suck windows 7 is watered down becase shitty computers couldnt handle vista u cant expect crysis 2 run on a windows me machine lol

  • Comment removed

  • NOTE: Below, the comment from MARYTANNED37 is a FAKE come-on by a Dope who works for an internet Porn site. This Idiot goes to LOTS of vids just to leave provocative comments in hopes of attracting new traffic to their Stupid porn site. Matt, please delete this garbage. Soon.

  • Done!

  • HEY MATT! Thanks for replying. But, umm, did you mean done as in the comment below concerning MARYTANNED, or did you mean done concerning my request that Drive Sentry 3.3.0.4 be reviewed for it's On-Demand capabilities for detecting viruses on a heavily infected machine?

  • Hope to see a Microsoft Security Essentials review soon, now that they released it. Beta looked really good.

  • vista's regular look is better...

  • Panda has improved but I still would not use it, It still seems risky...

  • TheDudewithTude.

It looks like that because he's running the 95 theme pack that comes with it.

XP has it to just go to appereance.

  • THIS is Vista? XP looks better than this! Am I glad I got XP instead of that crap. It looks like windows 95!

  • Hey buddy, its in classic mode, Vista looks alot different in normal mode.

  • he made vista look like this in the control panel to make it run faster. it looks better in it's normal state

  • that is vista. but he made it into windows 95 so it would run faster

  • nice review panda didn't seem to do it's job but what the heck its ofc.! only a beta!

  • I love how it's a "Cloud" antivirus, but it still uses a considerable amount of CPU when removing viruses.

Anyway, awesome review. Good job keeping up to new products = )

  • Panda Beta has gotten better in some ways, but not in stopping Zero-Day Malware. It was impressive tho, when it detected ALL infections after a full scan. I, for one, DO NOT trust Panda and would not bother using..or buying this product. Panda software can Oft-times be sneaky in modifying certain files in memory without notice to the user. I await Matt's new review of DRIVE SENTRY 3.3.0.4 for On-Demand detection of a highly infected PC. MATT...RU INTERESTED??????????????

  • awesome review

  • Excellento Review

  • keep in mind that vista typically takes more CPU power, and your emulating it

    =P

  • 9:41-9:43

Was that the hard drive grinding away because of all those processes running from the previous malware?

  • can u tell me where u get the links i need to test my antivirus AVG internet security 9.1

  • could you put in the description box like that it is good or reccommended or that it is not reccommended or something, cause your videos are very long.

  • Nice review, man. What happened to Malvertised?

  • when his pc was full of virus? he stopped idk why maybe hard to get all the virus but i don't no because you could take a img file but idk

  • ur reviews are very rare dese days.

    i guess ur busy.

    anyways

thanks 4 another cool review .

  • I do one every week. Some products aren't worth reviewing as well.

  • Thanks for your videos.

they have helped me increase my computer understanding & safety of it :)

  • Do you have windows vista ????

    nice vid 5/5

  • when can we expect the widows anti virus system ?

  • Call me old fasion but I will never switch to cloud computing, which should be

  • Sorry I accidently clicked on post comment before I had finished typing, ..should be called "Ad computing".

  • Where have you seen any ads in cloud computing?

  • nice

  • thx!

  • Matt, your getting edgy and I like it. That was awesome throwing Microsoft Security Essentials in the mix like it was a old time western dual. Are you still running Defensewall or did you find a new h.i.p.s. product with prettier bells and whistles?

  • Thanks man, I like to mix it up now. I'm still running DefenseWall, works perfectly for me.

  • Man, call me crazy but where have you been. I missed your reviews. Had to settle for other peoples "reviews"

You should do a bootable CD removal on Vista or Windows .

  • Nooooo! I'm around. I usually do a video every week.

  • CORRECT?

its not the same as protected isnt it?

  • Not sure what you mean.

  • beta and malware fun ! thanx for the vid !

  • Sure man.

  • what exactly is GMER?

  • It's used to find, disable and delete rootkits.

  • oh thanks, btw your vidds help a lot

  • It is an anti-rootkit detector.

  • 7 out of 10 not bad maybe next version they will get better

  • Yeah, they seem to be getting a lot better

  • i miss the videos for detect and remove but i guess they do take like 4 times longer to make. i hope one day you do it again maybe if Mbam or SAS make another product

  • Yeah I do too, however typically it's just not possible to completely clean a PC without using a boot antivirus disc

  • when is windows 7 coming out?

  • oct. 22

  • some time october.

  • great videos! :)

  • i saw some reds with gmer matt

  • me too !

  • woooooohoooooooo
