Why are scientists scared of sun spots and plasma flares on the sun, but are willing to test it on earth? Why not the moon? Or Mars? Now there's an interesting application. it depends on how that wattage is transferred. thousands of gigawatts are safely transferred every day from power plants to the grid, from the grid to transformers, and from transformers to homes and commercial buildings. I understand that it is AC sine waves, and not radio waves, but I'm just proving a point.
