  • HOORAY FOR EVERYONE

  • Piss off the spider and you get bit in the head.

  • haha i feed those pantry moths to my mini praying mantis's all the time

  • rly?

they r quite convenient food source. lol

  • haha yeah i know, but mum put moth traps in the pantry, so now they are super hard to find! it sucks ass

  • instead of using moth traps, how about releasing ur mantis nymphs (or jumping spiders) to let them patrol the pantry on their own? :D

    just joking.

ur mum would not like the idea.

  • lol ye n theyd get squashed by all sorts of shit

  • alter bridge!!!!

  • Cool. Haha, my mom just walked by and said, "stop watching that spider kill things and help me move the table." Hehe.

  • why did u remove ur previous comment?

    its ok.

check out my new vid series "Love Story of Jumping Spider (Carrhotus xanthogramma)".

it is a spectacular and romantic soap opera.

i bet ur mom would love it.

  • I think I deleted it by mistake... it's back up now. ^_^ I'll check your other videos, too. I wish you best with ur little guys.

  • Cool. I never get tired of watching these guys. Well, except maybe when they're just in their nests. LOL!

  • lol, thx!

this holidays i could manage to film their interesting behaviours in my backyard.

they show me fantastic love stories and male-vs-male combats.

the macro vids are gonna be released soon.

  • oops, i have done some rubbish!

pleace delete one of the two videos i put to yours.

(one of them has nothing to do with spiders...

  • no prob.

thx 4 posting a nice vid response!

  • UGH, i remember when i visited my grandma and we were sitting outside of her house and suddently i saw one of the jumping spiders on the house wall and suddently it jumped onto my lap and i freaked out >_>

  • Jumping spiders !!!!

    AWSOME FIGHTERS!!!!!!!XD

  • whitch camera did you use?

i have a german jumpig spider too,

but my camera is not good enough!

  • my camera was quite an ordinary compact digital camera at that time.

my secret weapon was a clip-on macro lens (7.5x).

or, u can simply put a magnifier glass just in front of the camera lens.

nowadays i use a new camera (canon powershot s5is).

  • thank you!

  • Very good camera. My macro doesn't do so good. Good way to get rid of millers if I do say so myself. LOL! I have two jumping spiders myself with one video. Hope the eggs make it..

  • here is a tutorial vid clip (DIY macro lens) made by my buggy friend in argentina.

    watch?v=UNKK7uleLGY

  • Mp24x, Jumping spiders are one of the most good at fighting and capturing thier prey.Same with the trapdoor spider

  • What a stupid comment.

  • shut up stupid hahaha you stupid !

  • Your sad. This is an amazing video.

  • That looks like a power ranger.

  • Jumping spiders bites are painful

  • jeez! have you got bitten by jumpers?

  • a full grown "daring jumping spider" its not the bite itself, its just how well those fangs would dig into the skin. They're like ants. THEY WON'T GET OFF!!!! lol

  • and you suddenly became arachnophilia after that incident? lol

it must have injected something into your system. :p

  • (I know what your talking about.) actually, I still can't get enough of them.

  • Jumpers? Those are nothing! I used to caputure and sell exotic spiders! I've been bitten by a brown recluse and a wolf spider ON THE SAME DAY! However, if there the really big jumpers, now those hurt! lol

  • Yeah, That's what I meant.

  • I hope you're kidding and aren't really as ignorant as you seem.

  • before you give the fly to the jumper who've been captive for a while, you have to put the fly into a bottle and shake it hard a dozen times so that it will get disoriented and tries to walk instead of flying.

  • thanks a lot for the tips!

  • u don't need to shake the fly, u just need to rip out her wings, hehe :D

  • I heard that you have to wait for a while until their new skin hardens enough before you give them a meal. And I also heard the jumpers just love greenbottle flies more than anything in the world

  • this is sooo cool

  • thank you.

i was relieved to see that she regained appetite after final moulting.

  • ooo

    unlike my preying mantis

  • oh, i've forgotten.

how is your mantis nymph after that?

i hope it is fine now.
