  • cant find part 2 of this anywhere. that dailymotion video is unwatchable

  • everyone knows Vince is biased in favour of Austin! so shut the fuck up! Austin AND Rock are the TWO greatest ever! both as good and big as each other! end of! there doesnt have to be only 1. they are inseparable!

  • Austin was wwf and is wwe

  • Austin created The Attitude Era and The Rock propelled it to new heights when Austin was out. In Reality The Rock is always going to be #2 to Austin but that doesn't make Rock shit. The Rock is my All-time favorite wrestler and even I knew Austin was #1. Austin is one of my favorites too and for those who said Rock sold out listen to the Rock's promo before Wrestlemania 19 "The Rock has done it all" because he did so he went on to his other passion acting. SCSA and Rocky. The two best PERIOD.

  • "A few months before WM19.....but, after an 8 month absence".....

  • there is now first and second between these two wrestlers...they're the greatest superstars in wwe/wwf history...they both come out first for me...

  • Jesse Ventura the narrator!!??!

  • I was an Austin fan too, I'm a hater lol!

  • Let me say this Austin was the FORE FRONT of the Attitude Era meaning he is the KING Period! From 1997 to 2001 AUSTIN OWNED! Austin is a BIG part of the reason why Rock became popular in the FIRST PLACE cause Austin CHANGED the Wrestling Business! It was only when Austin left in 2002 cause he wasn't being pushed to main event's is when the Rock became more popular, that and the movies! Wrestling wise Austin is the MOST SUCCESSFUL Wrestler said by Vince himself and others!

  • @Larh124

The Rock was barely there in 2002 nimrod. The Rock was slightly more popular than Austin in the fall of 1999 before Survivor Series. I say slighty because the fans still cheered Austin, but they chanted The Rock's name more than they chanted Austin's.

  • As usual simple mark talk without logic.

  • @QuackyQuack1 As usual a Simple Prick, Austin Hater LOL! GET A LIFE AND A CLUE!

  • Austin maybe have been the better wrestler but the rock wasTHE star! ... he had it all in him !

  • Austin is the Man! Hands down, often emulated but never duplicated! Austin; the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. If there was ever a shining star in the universe that is WWF/E, it IS Stone Cold Steve Austin. The work, blood, sweat and tears he put into the company has laid out the foundation upon which the next generation will grow and build upon. However no one will ever come close to reaching his level.

  • ┌П┐(•_•)┌П┐

    Stone cold steve austin................

  • All, all you guys who keep fussing about who was more popular than who, let's put it this way: Among pure WRESTLING fans, Stone Cold was more popular. Outside of wrestling, The Rock had Stone Cold beat. He was more marketable to the world outside of wrestling than Stone Cold. That doesn't tarnish either's legacy. They're both loved by fans around the world and are friends in real life. They'd be disappointed in their fans if they saw them at each other's throats like this. Just love them both.

  • @ErinAlexis86

Austin was more popular among "wrestling fans" when Rock started acting like a pretty boy in his latter face years. Rock in 1999 was not a pretty boy, he was pretty mean looking and that's what fans liked most about him at the time.

  • The rock till this day in the wwe is unmatch. Nobody come close to his status. He is in a class to himself. Cena suck big time and most of these so call stars in the wwe. Used to be one of my favorite shows 8 yrs ago. But it just got boring after that.

  • the greatest showman nd talented mann in the history...the rock

  • the gear that took austins place unforunately left at wrestlemania xx being brock lesnar and then after he left there hasnt been someone to take his place and no cena does not count...

  • The gear they put in to replace Austin was a big purple fruity one that made the machine look and run like a girl

  • wat is the song dat starts off the vid

  • Austin was not a gear in the machine! He WAS the machine!!!!!!!!!! He was and still is wrestling. Rock is a major gear same with hogan but Austin is the machine

  • The Rock and Stone Cold... the best...

  • Why cant i ever find the end of thi on youtybe on my ipod? Wtf?

  • hulk hogan is the maker of wwf old school, stone cold is the saver of of wwf attitude.

and john cena, i cant see him anywhere near these two.

people says that austin is the best wrestler, i believe that too but u got to give it to the immortal hulk, he along with Mc. Mahon created this company.

  • Part two almost brings me to tears...

  • Steve you right you were a ccog in tha machine ! but your wrong you will never be replaced! If you agree give me a HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

  • Austin said he was just a cog in the machine that is WWE. It may be true that wrestling is a machine, but this machine is broken without him. Aside from Orton, who I see a lot of Austin in, it sucks. Nexus needs to go, and I'm just about done with it.

  • we need some more people like stone cold, the rock, biker undertaker and everyone else in late nintys of wrestling

  • i hope steve and rock come back one day

  • V.M. is a bitter fuck rock was well above austin by far he reached a level of super stratum that no one ever did

  • @aviles1323 as great as the rock is.... he is just not as Big as stone cold was... i love The Rock too but Austin was and is the biggest superstar WWE EVER HAD

  • @TSK619 i doubt that by far the rock was the biggest superstar to ever step foot in the wwe

  • @aviles1323 well mate... there are alot of evidence that prooves that austin was the biggest... the fact that he is "the most popular wwe superstar of all time" - wwe.com

he got voted the Raw superstar of the decade in 2002, ahead of The Rock...

the 3 times these 2 faced at wrestlemania, Austin was the fan favourite all 3 times

and basically he was the attitude era.. as he started it and he dominated the wwe 3 year running 1997, 1998, 1999, at later stage of 2000

  • @TSK619 oh yes evidence right lets see stone colds return last year pop ok you can say the rocks return amazing pop also like they said in the wwe 50 greatest ever the rock is by far the most popular mainstream wrestler ever he took popularity to another level if i do best recall during the attitude era it was the rock who was all over mainstream media and magazines guess staring in shows after shoes he front page magazine after magazine and headlining wrestlemania after wrestlemania

  • @TSK619 oh and yeah the dream match was the rock and hogan not hogan and austin let me make it simple for you the rock reached a level autin did and surpassed it in a shorter amount of time he became a legend and iconic in such short time while it took austin his whole carrer to do that the rock entertainment value is unmatched he was so popular he was able to make it into hollywood the you may not like it but the rocks popularity is unmatched and no superstar can match it he took the

  • @TSK619 attitude era to another level simple as that he took being a superstar to new heights

  • @aviles1323 at the end of the day... The Rock and Stone Cold are two best wrestlers of all time... though Stone Cold is in the #1 spot.. but the Rock is #2.... but they are the greatest thing that happen to WWE...

  • @aviles1323 exactly what im saying the rock took being a superstar to another level a level that no one had reached or has reached up to date he set the bar for popularity by far above stone cold

  • @aviles1323 Stone Cold has been at the top of WWF with 3 years straight... 97 -99 his popularity was just so freakishly high that it made Austin so much powerful.. the WWE never witnessed someone get so popular as they did with Austin.. its another thing being the most electrifying in WWE history.. but its another thing being the most popular and the biggest superstar in wwe history, which austin is.. Austin had an era just like Hogan n it was called the Attitude era..

  • @TSK619 thats where your wrong bcs the wwf has nevere seen some one reach a level of popularity like the rock has. Simple as this austin may have been the founder of the attitude era but the rock was its poster boy and he took it to naother level during the attitude era the rock influence in mainstream media surpassed anything the wwf had ever seen before he was guest hosting shows after shows on he was plaster in almost every magazine there is i never saw austin reach that level of popularity

  • @TSK619 and as jim ross said once before he has never seen any one have the fans in the palm of there hands like the rock it was not austin and hogan it was the rock and hogan it was not goldberg and austin it was the rock and goldberg and i can continue going the rock was maineventing even when his matches where not tittle matches the rock siomple biggest super star ever

  • @aviles1323 Well, Jim Ross also said that Stone Cold is the biggest superstar this company has ever seen.. and he also said the we had Hogan, we had The Rock.. But we never had anyone quite like Stone Cold... Also Vince Mcmahon (whose been the boss of WWE for over 2 decades) called Stone Cold The greatest WWE superstar of all time...

Look, im not against The Rock... i absolutely love Austin and The Rock.. and they are the main reason i ever watched WWE.. but Austin is #1 and The great one in #2

  • @TSK619 was Jim Ross only joined the WWF in the early 90s, his opinion is worth shit. You would have to hook Vince Mcmahon to a lie detector to answer that question

  • @TSK619 but its like i mentioned before why wasnt it austin who faced hogan or goldberg i think most if not all off wwf superstars are measured in popularity and the rocks popularity is unmatched by no one he reached a global popularity his saying are iconic his mic skills i mean why do you think he got the reception he did as a heel with fans still behind him while austin as a heel didnt do as well when he was in the corporation ????

  • @aviles1323, Austin/Hogan didn't happen because neither wanted to lose. As for Goldberg, well he arrived right when Stone Cold retired. Had Austin not retired, he probably would've went against Goldberg(maybe at WrestleMania 20). That match was the talk of the late 90s. Not Rock/Goldberg.

  • @nike316 i doubt that its simple the rock has a connection with the people like no one ever has i mean look at both there return in 2011 austin was barely even mentioned while the rock was all over the place all over the wwf world etc and its like the rock said he did it all and in such a short time ....

  • @aviles1323, The Rock was gone 7 years, of course his return was gonna be a bigger deal. Austin's return was a big deal as well though. His return scored a 3.9 for Raw, which is hard for WWE to get these days. The Rock did it all in a short amount of time, but so did Austin.

  • @TSK619 No The Rock is number 1 and Austin is also number 1

  • @aviles1323 Not in the WWE but in the main-stream Media, yes. Austin though if he made movies in the peak of his popularity in 97-2001 they would of drew HUGE.

  • @BSabres87 just in general simple as that the amount of main events the rock had speak for themselves the rock is simply the biggest super star to ever step foot in the wwf

  • it makes me happy knowing that these two icons are great frinds in real life.. when they started they hated each other then later on i guess started liking each other .. but like stone cold said .. rock admited that he loves me and so did i! ahaha awwwwww :))) makes me soooo happppy <3

  • is this jesse ventura narrating?

  • Stone Cold saved RAW during the monday night wars and changed the wrestling world forever. The WWE had a huge problem turning him heel because ppl just wouldn't stop cheering for him no matter how bad we was. The Rock made being a heel cool! The blue Brahma bull was so iconic that the T-shirt was the best selling WWE shirt of all time and is a sought after collectors item today. Sadly, the one guy who appreciated his job(Austin)had to leave, but the Rock says he is ashamed of his WWE days. Sad

  • @ginko27 the blue brahma bull t-shirt was a big seller but it's nowhere near touching the austin 3:16 t-shirt in terms of sells and notoriety.

  • its retarded how some fans talk about john cena being better than the rock and stone cold, if you really watched wrestling youd know these two muthafuckers right here are the only reason there was even a wwF

  • @goboiproductions Even though i dont mind seeing cena wrestle and entertain in and outside of the ring , he is nothing compared to stone cold and the rock FACT they made wrestling what it is today and if it wasn't for people like the rock and stone cold the wwe wouldn't be where it is today.

  • where the fuk is part 2

  • wheres part 2

  • steve wasnt gonna leave wwe but because of his neck injury he is forced to do so what if he didnt have that injury maybe wwe wont suck like to day.

  • thumbs up for jesse ventura

  • @MrShane737

    You're right!

  • the rock and austin are the best period! you simply cant have one without the other.

  • where is part 2 `?

  • thanks

  • after wrestlemania 19 it went downhill the wwe

  • Austin saved WWF during the monday night wars in a way

  • where da fuck is part 2

  • @SuperWiseyoung88 In the description.

  • CENA IS THE WWE AND NO ONE ELSE

  • @AngelusFitzgerald Hahahaha! What are you 12?? Cena has no charisma and only does like 4 or 5 moves in every match he has ever had.. When have you ever heard anyone chant "You Can't Wrestle!" to Austin or The Rock?? Never! Which is what Cena always gets when it comes to the real wrestling fans

  • @AngelusFitzgerald

    Cena is a pussy

stone cold and rock were better

u must be 5 years old bcoz no one who watched wwF then would say dat

  • stone cold the rock HHH hbk bret heart and hulk hogan will always be remembered by those who watched wwf

  • Austin and Rock left too early. They were just too great too fast. They had all the talent in the world and transcended the business. You can put these guys as the 1st and 2nd greatest of all time and wouldn't get arguments against it. Guys like HBK, HHH, Undertaker, Jericho, Angle, Edge, and some others I haven't mentioned have generally stayed for the long haul. But Rocky and Stone Cold will always be on another level imo.

  • c'mon we all loved stone cold but to say that rock and undertaker and shawn micheal or hhh will never be as great as him isnt necessary they are all legends and needed eachother to be great with the fueds they all had with eachother and the memorable matches they had. when rock left it left a big hole in the company and was the same with hbk and will be the same when taker and hhh go aswell.

  • Vince McMahon: *deadpan* "Rock, as popular as he is..." *slight involuntary smirk* "was never quite Stone Cold Steve Austin."

There's no question which of the two was Vince McMahon's favorite.

  • @LostSkyeReynolds

It's because of the Austin-McMahon rivalry. The Rock was getting huge crowd reactions facing midcarders like Al Snow and Billy Gunn in '99, he had a match with Gangrel the Raw after Summerslam '99 and the crowd was about as loud as they would've been in an Austin main event. Did Austin even wrestle against a midcarder in 1999? From what I recall, Austin was only in matches with main eventers, so yes Vince is completely biased.

  • erm fuck off mister i do believe uh huh what huh bitch ass errrrrr

  • john cena took stone colds part....

  • *Stone Cold is fucking IMMORTAL! I love him for giving us the idea he was. Badass to the Death. Stone Cold is the Underground King of Wrestling to me.

  • Narrator is Jesse Ventura

  • Rock was never quite SCSA

  • austain 3:16 rulezzzzzzzzz

  • WOW jesse Ventura is a great narrator

  • NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE GREATEST WRESTLER OF ALL THE TIME

STONE COLD EVERYBODY CARES ABOUT YOU

NOBODY WILL BE AS GREAT AS STONE COLD NOT EVEN THE ROCK OR HHH OR HBK OR UNDERTAKER NNNOOOOBODYYYYY

  • i think he owes it to the people to have one more match!! just like rick flair and the rest. i want to know that its his last!!

  • @TheDunnie28 except, y'know, "last match" never means "last match." Just like Flair.

  • wiith out the stone cold gear, this machine dont roll to well

  • stone cold around 3:28 is so wrong im a huge rock fan and i love the rock more than steve but hes wrong because i do and i think everyone cares about stone cold steve austin

  • rattle snake iz the best man in wwe ,, no one iz like him.... & thats the bottom line what the Ali said soo...

  • where is the rest of the movie??? !!!! whats it called

  • R.I.P. Stone Cold... You are a living legend!!!

I cant wait to see your new movie

  • @metalsnake27 hes not dead

  • scheiss wichser wenn du einen teil reinstellst ... mach part 2 auch rein!!!!!!!!!!! stück scheisse du

  • I RESPECT YOU ROCK FANS OPINIONS ABOUT THE ROCK BEING BETTER THAN STONE COLD, BUT AUSTIN SET THE MOST RECORDS IN THE WWE HE STARTED THEW WHOLE ATTITUDE ERA IN 98 WHILE THE ROCK WAS IN THE NATION OF DOMINATION, I THINK THE ROCK WAS BETTER ON THE MIC THAN AUSTIN, BUT THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE, I UNDERSTAND THESE DIE HARD ROCK FANS ARE GONNA SAY THE ROCK WAS BETTER, THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS, AND HOGAN FANS ARE GONNA SAY THAT HOGAN WAS BETTER THAN AUSTIN, AND THE ROCK

  • 2 OF THE GOATS

  • "Stone Cold thought he had come to Seatille to die" What a line, and if said during this match if led up like the reality of it was, it could have been one of the all time great calls.

  • think how much money could have been drawn from rock vs austin being led up as austins last match with rock becoming obsessed with finally beating austin at mania which is why he came back from hollywood and austin doing sit down promos like these where he sasy "who would care" etc because everyone cares about him and himn thinking that would get him so much sympathy.

  • If Austin and The Rock were "gears" they'll never be replaced and the "machine" will never be the same.

  • thanks but i would like to watch part 2 however it is copyrights so could u like solve this plesase thanks

  • whats the song playing in the beginning

  • don't forget brock lesner

  • i also miss ric flair, kevin nash and goldberg these guys were guys were just brilliant

  • the classics like the rock, stone cold, hulk hogan were the best and now the only good wrestlers like shawn micheals and the undertaker and i liked kane until they took off his mask and his mask was badass why take it away, they also ruined jericho and kurt angle they just not cool anymore

  • wahts the name of the last instrumental

  • was this narrated by jesse ventura? it sounds like him?

  • people who know anything about wrestling know that for a fact that stone cold is >the rock rock isnt on austins level, no one is, get into yoour fuckin dumb heads

  • @OneBloodOneGame yeah thats what any real wrestlimg fan would.its just like kids andslutty girls say rock is better than austin is similar to cena is better than rock.

  • i really miss stone cold... too bad he left...but he left good memoriies for us...

  • Id love to see the part 2 in this.

  • it saddens me that there will never be another wrestler like stone cold or the rock, that there will never be another attitude era (wwe as pg completely prevents it) and as such wrestling may be dead forever. i placed my faith in tna like many others because its all we have, but slowly i see it straying from getting to where we all wish it would get, to recreate the competition that wwe needs, that got it to the attitude era in the first place.

  • Great Video. It was heartbreaking to hear Steve talk about himself like that. Let's face it- he was the damn machine. It's great to see him now doing much better though. :)

    Thanks for posting. :)

  • @LibraDoll10 yaeh man it doesnt matter if he ever wrestles again or not.io just want him to get as healthy as he ever was. i just thank him becoz people like him make our lives so much better.i just wish i could help him but i'll be thankful to him forever.

  • WTF thats jesse ventura how naruates wierd

  • listen i dont hate cena hes ok but i think the tourch should have gone to batista he is 300 pounds of raw muscle he is an ANIMALE

  • @spainking1 I believe that the torch of the "machine" should be passed on to whoever is ready and willing to take the torch.Saying that I mean it should be given to the person with the most passion for the business.Batista really wants out,his contract expires in a couple of days.He wants to move on to acting.Cena wants to stay and perform and is quiet younger. He's ready for the ride.

  • @spainking1 hey i even thoght so coz batista was simply made for RAW and cena was made for SMACKDOWN.they were amazing at their respective shows.they could have actually been respected as great superstars if wwe hadnt fucked with them.

  • @andy261992 well in smackdown batistai was awsome he was always the champ he vs undertaker mark henry and outhers but he wasd good in raw when he was with evoltion

  • It's called world wrestling ENTERTAINMENT. The rock was funny, good at what he does.

  • I really respect Austin alot..he is one of the most toughest humans thats ever lived.

  • someone else had to be that guy and unfortunately that guy was...ugh John Cena

  • @MrKing8050 well jack cena was actually good and capable and was popular and amazing as hell.and i dont know why people like you who i dont know who the hell you think you are dont cena like ugh and all that stupid crap.its the cena fanbase that is all the slutty girls and kids that make me say ugh.CENA is unfortunate that his fanbase is so crap.but cena is the man ,get it.

  • damn i miss stonecold good thing he guest hosted RAW

  • ooo man I reaallyyy wanted to see part 2

  • where is part two?

  • They were both great. I think they were about equal popularity honestly. Neither guy had a big edge. Only two wrestlers to ever challenge Hogan for being as "huge" as he was.

  • where is part 2 of this?

  • @TheSlaphappyknappy exactly what I wonderin'

  • @St3llan he just discovered a new passion cant blame him for following his dream

  • its funny how with all this new talk of concussions and broken backs, and all the injuries hogan, undertaker, shawn michaels, steve austin, rey misterio, have all had, people would actually wonder why rock would perfer to take an easy 5 mill or whatever per picture over maybe making a million a year breaking his body down...marks!!!

  • THE ROCK AND AUSTIN ARE MY FAVES!

  • They are gimmicks like the Undertaker as Biker ,Stone cold, The rock, Who can only be in our memorys now the wwe is just a piece of shit wich want only make money and dont care what the fans want Attitude era was the best time on wwf or wwe DAMN!

  • @Roodsteam The Attitude Era was what made all that money, hypocrite. WWE are always trying new things to make money.

  • "The Rock was so much better" stfu you all sound like a bunch of babies. The two of them needed each other to be two of the greatests of all time. There has never been and probably will never be a better pop than the one these two got when they were in the wwe. To me they're both the greatest because of each other.

  • well said

  • @idius11 absolutely right man.these kids who watch it on youtube only watch it as a video and know shit about how this all happened.the success of wwf was week after week that the stuff that austin did.becoz of him rock became so famous.but austin i would say was all becoz of himself.and his rivalry with lord of darknes undertaker just made him even greater.fuckin retards dont understand that.

  • the rock and austin were the only guys heel or face that were loved

  • this was the last WWE PPV I ever watched. Even more saddening was that watching it with me was a friend of mine who died in a motorcycle accident a year later...my WM 19 party was the last time I saw him. I guess I feel like the finality of this match has deep symbolic meaning for me personally as well and it's probably why I keep coming back to watch these videos here on youtube.

  • @UnreleasedOriginal its bad man ,but even i am feel so damn amazing watchin this and remembering old times.all of us here are like you, trying to remember vthe good old days and having a hell of a time.anyway i hope that once those times come back.

  • Where's part 2 of this video?

  • The Rock is the best of all time....any wrestler can have trouble but in the ring only one wins ....So The Rock # 1

  • Are u keep gonna post this shit on every video that is about Austin and Rock?U can have ur own twisted annoying opinions, but the fact is that Austin is the greatest ever,he set records which rock never even can come close to,WWF won "the monday night war" because of him,so face the facts !

  • which are your fcts that you talk....firs of all i can post the number of coments in each viedo I want .....so idiot,,,,you can ask people if you want ....the greast evr..?? pff....the greast ever for the monkey of Vince but for the people...NO

  • im going to disagree, austin was more popular but not by that much, they both have records over each other and the monday night war was pre the rock era so that doesnt count, however the rock was part of wwf when it took over wcw which austin wasnt until they brought him back to face the rock

  • @SeeLachZ oh hell yeah!

  • @PiOLiNstyle well you are kid,you dont know shit about wretling so stop talking bitch.

  • @andy261992 shut up assfull I ´ve seen Austin The Rock I ´m sure I am older than you and i don´t remember that Austin make the people turn crazy like The Rock Austin was really good fighting but only that so agresive but only that never was enough. so you can see videos from The Rock shut your mouth know your role and acept the truth

  • @PiOLiNstyle thats what i am sayin.u only see youtube videos and then say your opinion.if you watched wwf week after week u may know why im saying austin's the best ever.he made wwf what it became and then guys like rock took it to another level.

  • What I'm gonna ask is something I have always felt ever since Austin burst into the WWF.

Was Austin not on good terms with the rest of the wrestlers beside The Rock and Bret Hart? I always kinda felt watching videos like this backstage, that most of the wrestlers in the WWF/WWE were not too fond of him.

    Is that true?

  • a lot fo guys apparently liked austin but he was a quiet guy. ive watched so many videos and interviews and everyone loved him as a person and athlete and performer but he was the quiet guy and most people didnt get why

  • does anyone else agree that they should make a rock vs austin dvd of all there great moments together it would be awesone

  • im 21 years old havent watched wrestling in quite some time now but if i was asked what i remember most about wrestling its the austin era without a doubt i remember watching this wrestlemania like it was yesterday as far as im concerned the minute stone cold and the rock left was the minute wrestling went down hill anyone who was lucky enough to watch wrestling when austin and rock were around know that wrestling then compared to wrestling now no fucking comparsion r.i.p. attitude era

  • here here :D

  • total agree

  • gosh....that.....is really sad.....

  • austin was in a lot of pain. i felt sorry for his marriage

  • anyone know where i can find part 2 of this?? or watch the full thing??? this is a kool vid
