@OLDNEWBLUE Is the boat in the water, or running on muffs? Have you checked all the water passages to be sure they are clear? Have you checked the condition of the circulator pump, and t-stat? I'm assuming when you put a new impeller in, you remembered to put the impeller key in too. I can try to help you on youtube but have you asked for help elsewhere? There is a boating forum at Iboats(dot)com. Its free to join. There is allot of long time marine mechanics there who are full of good advice.
Sorry i really don´t know what part you´re looking for. can you describe it a little more. Doe you mean the round flat gasket at both ends of the heat exchanger. It has the same outer diameter like the heat exchanger an the inner diameter for the bolt.
We have this engine in our boat. Where does the vaccuum line come off the distributor and can you tell me where it runs into? We have the original manual but we can't find this. The engine runs awesome until it's under a load, we made a makeshift vacuum line and sucked it while on the water under a load and it kicked up and stopped cutting out. Any help would be SUPER appreciated.
Forget the vakkum line. You only need it an a car. So you have got the distributor of the Volvo 164 inside. That doesn´t matter but in a boat you don´t need the Vakuum can.

If you read the coments on the to you'll see that it is the same engine like the 164 but with other Carbs and Cam.
