in reality, this fight SHOULD have been margarito v mayweather..should have been for the last 3 years. just so happens that floyd retired, cotto was the only option to make a great fight at this point. boxing needed it. i dont think floyd would have turned down 8 million to fight cotto. margarito threw the fight against williams, needed to. nobody wanted to fight him. he had to look bad so he could land big name fights.cotto is good but not that good. look at the malinagi fight.

I saw the fight, it was great it was what i expected. Cotto was going to be the boxer, he had power,he was sharp, well rounded fighter.Margarito, came with power ,and a none stop puncher, his chin at 100%. Cotto is good fighter he would of won against any other fighter. But Margarito has more experience and a crazy chin. If you saw all of Margarito fights thats how he fight he takes and gives. I give respect to Cotto, but he rand out of gas and was hurt several times, that caused him the fight.
