HeavyRocker---donald wolfe in his book "the black dahlia files" says she was cut in two and drained of blood to make moving her body easier. Siegel and 3 others tortured and killed her. Dr Audrain came in later and removed her uterus and bisected her .Siegel was a psycho who liked killing. He was rubbed out just 5 months later by mob bosses because his increasing depravity was bringing too much attention.

Elizabeth Short was killed by an abortion doctor and Bugsy Siegel. She was pregnant by the chief of the LA Times who visited prostitutes (Elizabeth Short was a prostitute). With his reputation on the line, the LA Times chief, ordered for her to have an abortion. She wanted her baby. Two LAPD detectives and Bugsy Siegal, along with abortion Dr. killed her.

@tmackmotorhead Read the book The Black Dahlia Files (I will get you the authors name, I forgot). It seemed to be the only logical explanation for what happened to her. It's an amazing book and this author refutes all those other books written about her case. I want to read it again! I couldn't put it down and now I believe this is what truly happened to this poor girl. So sad...

Also, I believe its most likely that it was done by just one person. The more people involved, the much more likeliness that someone will find out the truth. It won't ever make sense because I think the murderer had no reason and it was just completely random. A psycho trying to have some "fun"
