the reason i was searching this video is because about a year ago i saw a big jack in port mansfield texas. I was fishing in crystal clear water close to the salsa when i caster in to a school of 3 or 4 reds, when i hooked 1 of them is when i saw it swim to my boat.
I agree I guess, although I always love a good pic holding a trophy before I let him go. Sorry if last comment sounded mean, I was frustrated you lost the fish. I just caught a huge jack this morning and would have been mad if I hadn't gotten a good picture with him landed and released.

Next time grab the net 1st, camera 2nd. That was such a waste of time at the end when that fish should have been netted about 5 times there.

It was just a Jack....who cares if it was landed, it was going to be released anyways. The memories in this video will FAR outlast a netted fish.
