I saw Eldritch saying somewhere that the songs on the best of compilation 'a slight case of overbombing' were not his favourites (hence the title). They were ''too bombastic''. I'm hoping this would be one of the tracks on his personal best of... My favourite track from the f'loodland' album (despite the album's all too dominant sound apparent here too ), pointing back, not only lyrically, to the 'first and last and always' classic
