i do not like the idea of having an actual application for notifications as the simple slide down menu is enough to deal with them. there is not much of a difference in the lock screen therefore i don't see how it could be that much better.

i am kind of pissed off because the notification bar is nothing new.i have been using an app for month found in cydia called intelliscreen and this app allows to even access news links stright from your lockscreen emails ,text, and even reply before even opening the iphone. also you can put your notification bars any where you want on the screen.
ios 5 is a joke, there releasing features android has had from the start and calling them revolutionary, ios 5 doesn't match up with android 2.3 and it certainly won't stand a chance once android 4.0 ice cream comes out.

Now I got it, after setting my backup back, but there are some glitches, like in the app store if you press the install button after searching for an app, you cant get the buy or install button, it changes in a little square
@gangester420 I believe so. In the keynote when discussing compatibility they just said "iPhone 4" which I Think covers both GSM and CDMA models. Before when 4.3 came out they made a point of saying GSM only, where here they have not.
I was really expecting more from this year. I mean all they did was add things that most phones had from launch and say it in a more wordy fashion to make it seem like something new and revolutionary when its really not. And thanks John for not being one of those blind idiots who dont give credit or criticism when its due.

iOS 5 has actually got that , just look on apples website . it also has icloud , intergrated twitter , new camera features , new messaging and everything!!
I think it's about time apple turns it up a notch & catches up or even surpasses Android. Otherwise, it would be no fun. This drives prices down for us consumers too! We end up getting more for the same amount of money, unless you own an android, then it's pretty much all free. But that's a whole diff topic, this is about stepping up the comptetition.
Thats the problem with Android and the reason why i got an iPhone 4. The phone will be outdated with weeks or days when you get it and you never know when you'll get the newest updates. At least Apple does it all at one time and wont leave a device untouched when it comes to updates
If you go with apple you can get an entire suite of products and accessories.
You can have an iMac that can run windows and macOS on your desk, an iPhone as your mobile phone, an iPad as a tablet, a Macbook for a laptop and Apple TV so you can watch videos on any of these devices on your TV.
Apple provides a total experience, where as android is only a phone and a tablet

The Infuse 4G sucks the worst phone i think i have ever used.

@ForeverNarisa Yes, when you connect it, itunes automatically asks you if you want to upgrade.... or you could just download the update directly from your phone ;)

@gangester420 I believe so. In the keynote when discussing compatibility they just said "iPhone 4" which I Think covers both GSM and CDMA models. Before when 4.3 came out they made a point of saying GSM only, where here they have not.

I was really expecting more from this year. I mean all they did was add things that most phones had from launch and say it in a more wordy fashion to make it seem like something new and revolutionary when its really not. Uh, that's been for ages. Apple loves to steal from people who can't afford to fight them about it. Always have, always will. Survival of the fittest I guess, I don't rlly care personally, it's not my apps. I'd rather have it native then, have to get some half assed app from Cydia :P/

I think it's about time apple turns it up a notch & catches up or even surpasses Android. Otherwise, it would be no fun. This drives prices down for us consumers too! We end up getting more for the same amount of money, unless you own an android, then it's pretty much all free. But that's a whole diff topic, this is about stepping up the comptetition.

Thats the problem with Android and the reason why i got an iPhone 4. The phone will be outdated with weeks or days when you get it and you never know when you'll get the newest updates. At least Apple does it all at one time and wont leave a device untouched when it comes to updates

If you go with apple you can get an entire suite of products and accessories.
You can have an iMac that can run windows and macOS on your desk, an iPhone as your mobile phone, an iPad as a tablet, a Macbook for a laptop and Apple TV so you can watch videos on any of these devices on your TV.
Apple provides a total experience, where as android is only a phone and a tablet
Android has potential to be great, Apple is great right now.
