Women are safer pilots because they think with both sides of thier brains which is crucial during takeoff approach and landing as they have to do many things at once - its a non-issue in the west but I do realise that in a Muslim country its a big thing (I am Irish & Catholic) - I feel safer with a female flight crew - maybe we will see them flying a PIA 777 into Dublin soon???

dear we can defeat porkistan but reality is we are not bothered as much abt pak as it is other way round, weve more imp things to do!!! as far as defeating pak is concerned, if we raise our defence expenditure from 6% to 12 or 14%,whole of pak economy will collapse in matching ours,as it will have to spend 80% of its budget,,it is as simple as this,i hope message is conveyed!!!

I agree with you - there is no reason why women cannot be on active service in the PAF - they have only been held back by male dominated tradition which uses religion as an excuse & we had this debate when women pilots wanted to join the Irish Air Corps - despite being a non issue in the west its a big thing in a Muslim country

Gender has nothing to do with flying planes..I have seen Jamaican women driving high mast Forklifts...which in my opinion is more manly and dangerous than flying a plane

Hurray for PIA ladies. this is the most historical flight! thanks for sharing. Aysha Rabia I think got her training by my dad back in the 70s or 80s. wow, shes a brave lady stuck to her dream. also congrats to the FO, i think Sadia Aziz... congrats ladies and PIA!
