It seems too funny to me that someone like "The Rickster" would feel insecure about his looks. I remember idolizing him as a kid. When I saw him recently on tv today, I think he still looks amazing. But this really is a cute episode. I love how he just let loose and was completely into his character no matter what the part called for. He cracked me up when he started dancing. That kind of humor is still funny even today. Timeless. Thanks again for these.

Rick Schroder and Alfonso Ribeiro were just fantastic in this show. I never realized how good they were. Today we're bombarded by shows with kids who can't act (or over act) like Hannah Montana and Suite Life on Deck. Those shows are so over the top and pathetic. Silver Spoons was done at such a higher level.

insecurity is not a nice trait, that's for sure... but we will always have our foibles. ... and the (extreme) opposite of insecure is arrogant and that's not appealing either. secure in one looks can come off as arrogant, unfortunately.

@Siobanphotogirl Sweetie, in some ways guys have it WORSE! At that age, a girl can be short, tall, thick, small, plump, skinny...and STILL be considered pretty, if awakwardly so. Guys have to deal with the general perception of NOT caring about looks & being intimidated by the reality of girls and their more developed peers. Everybody, even adults, have those things about themselves they're unsure over; it's human nature. I feel for girls, who are often judged soley on looks, but boyssuffer too
