Black Americans seem very frustrated with us Latinos (I am latina) I feel like they are trying to force us choose white or black in our latin countries. We accept our mixtures something that is not as common in the U.S.

In the US people have used Black and African American interchangeably so much, that many don't use Black to describe Afro-Latinos, but will use the Spanish word negros.

little black american boys are shunned in preference to black latinos that only claim black when convient, yeah we know their as black as us but we don;t need people that stand in our faces on jobs, in military, in discussion around whites saying they are not black then when stats are convenient they roll with the ink, being black is also a state of mind, yt surpremacy has got u calling black ppl a hair do centered, history started in Africa so its the worlds center

If they don't identify as black then perhaps that is NOT the identity they choose! You have to understand that if Hispanic/Latino is used as a mutually exclusive term in the states and if Afrodescent Latinos choose just the label Hispanic/Latino over others why don't you do the same by criticizing lighter skinned or mestizo looking Hispanic/Latinos!
