waste of money, just make "cupcake pops" its the same thing but using a cupcake pan, which most of us already have. plus you get more to eat on each stick!
I recived a baby cake maker for christmas I love it I made pan cake balls my mom, dad, and even the dog's loved my pancake pops.love the lilbrownies also GREAT PRODUCT.
I got it for christmas this year and I think it's really great , honestly i think some people don't like it because they don't read the instructions properly or they aren't doing it right but I really love this ;]
I got this for christmas and love it. It is so much faster and easier, And not as sweet as the other cake balls with the icing in it. It is very easy to clean too.......I LOVE IT!!!!
It is very difficult to get perfectly round cake pops with this machine. Personally, I think they do taste better than the regular cake crumbs mixed with frosting (I find those too sweet and they have a nasty texture).
this is not how you make actual cake pops that you can buy in bakeries... they are not just balls of cake, they are cake truffles made of a mixture of cake and frosting then dipped in chocolate. these are not cake pops
@paconot I made a video using this machine and loved it. Check out my video maybe the helpful hints will make it easier for you. don't toss it yet lol I tried to upload a video reply but if it's not here just search for the video and you'll see how I made them work for me.
@IcedLipGloss Well, I have to admit I did not give it much consideration after the first couple of batches produced cakeballs that could not withstand the heaviness of my chocolate and decorations. You can only make one size cake ball and no shapes. If you perhaps use a dense cake it might work, but my scratch batter cakeballs contain ganache and I use real chocolate not candy coats. It may be that this product is designed for home use and not professional quality treats. Hope that helped.
They won't taste the same because don't have the frosting mixed in.

I have this. Using cake batter sucks, but try brownie mix for mini brownies or pancake batter for pancake balls :)

That thing would not make cake pops! Itd make cake mix on a stick. Cake pops have icing and are much more moist! Shun The Cake Pop Machine!!!!

I just got one for my birthday and tried it out.
It is pretty neat, but I think I will be making mostly things that are not cake-- Pancakes and eggs and muffins and doughnuts and and and!

@paconot An easy way to make cakepops is by making a cake, crumbling it up and adding buttercream to it. Roll them into balls and decorate!!!
