You're using FF right? Just find somewhere in the game with your name (that directs to your lord site) right click and select copy link address... will usually be something like, knight.fb.hive7 (or SOMETHING :P)
I'm not exactly positive. I'm 90% sure it means that they are armed with Axes. Since this video there have been a lot of updates since the game is still in Beta stages. The axes and pikes give you advantages in battles.
To seize vassals you just have to attack somebody and select "Seize a Vassal" It's harder than raiding because you have to be able to defeat the vassal your seizing and also the defenders and also attack the correct place.
Does this game still exists on facebook or myspace ?

@OBC00 Nope. Medieval History. Facebook pull the plug on the game a few months ago by disabling the app.
