  • My hubby's friends and I through an email group decided that this idea was so great, we'd do the same, but instead of freight, we're using Pullman pool sleepers across the layouts.

  • This is a great little series. Thanks for sharing these videos for our viewing pleasure. I'm new to the world of "G" scale railroading and loving every minute of it. I have not been able to find dummies? Are these usually an old engine with the gutts removed? Thanks and again... great video series!

  • This video sucked balls and is that ho trains this video is major thumbs down

  • When I watch this video, it remind me immediatily to a sort of "Thomas, the Steam Engine", but a very Professional and Super American version ;););)

  • Whats the switcher on the southern pacific called.

  • Its a EMD High Nose "SD9", they were built in the 1950's. Used first as main line road power, then used (1970's to 1990's) as industry switch runs, branch lines and yard switching.

  • instead of real gas they probobally grind steroids into liquid and give them that

  • those r some really strong engines!

  • great video! 100/5

  • are the sounds real or fake cause they sound realistic. :P

  • They are real sounds. They have been recorded trackside ourselves, or dubbed from a DVD or VHS video.

  • oh yeah. you take the real sounds from a dvd or a video and edit it into the original footage. probably one of the best ways to do it

  • Do a t.a.a in steam! that would be cool!

  • Well, we have talked about doing a steam special, but TAA is set in the late 70's early 80's time period. Thanks!

  • Yes HO scale. Thanks

  • BN in addition to Espee are the roads here.

There some vid's of our layout on here Longview Kelso & Rainier Railway in the search bar should bring them up.

  • Not to be rude or anything, but how do you guys fund all the trains and materials, it would have to be in the thousands im sure. Nive video

  • Membership dues fund the construction and maintenance of the layout. I don't know what the layout is worth, but we put much less than a thousand bucks per year into it...

  • narrator sounds like he is actually commanding trains

  • he does huh?? true!!! X)

  • The track u and Wesolint use looks so much neater then the track Chessie uses!

  • Hey watch it there; Chessie's layout is 20 years old, and the old fart can't afford to update it. It's actualy more realistic IMO. He's a good friend of mine, so please subscribe to his channel and say nice things about his layout. :P

  • Im sorry, I didnt mean it in a disrespectful way. I just like new lookin track, thats y I asked if u guys did track construction vids. When Chessie replaces the old track on his layout can u tape it and post it on YouTube??
