My hubby's friends and I through an email group decided that this idea was so great, we'd do the same, but instead of freight, we're using Pullman pool sleepers across the layouts.
Oxford University Has Published A Book "THE MAKERS OF THE UNIVERSE", In Which They Have Enlisted 100 People Who Gave Remarkable Contribution To The World Over The Period Of 10,000 Years, Which Is Admired By The Entire UNIVERSE. This is a great little series. Thanks for sharing these videos for our viewing pleasure. I'm new to the world of "G" scale railroading and loving every minute of it. I have not been able to find dummies? Are these usually an old engine with the gutts removed? Thanks and again... great video series!
u have some really nice trains, your layout is amazing. im just begining to start model railroading and these videos inspire me and give me ideas to how i want my layout to look like. good job keep up the good work
Its a EMD High Nose "SD9", they were built in the 1950's. Used first as main line road power, then used (1970's to 1990's) as industry switch runs, branch lines and yard switching.
I need to weather your rolling stock, and especially your SP units, great layout and video, but lets dirty up those engines! I have been weathering SP units for 30 years, yes I curse the Union Pacific....
I cannot wait till I get my layout plan finished...even though i already have a train track...it sucks...but my grandpa's is amazing! he has all these train engines that today cost like $200---$20-free in WWII
It awesome! I get it when he leaves this earth...:(
I`m not a rail fan neither rail modeling but I`m amazed on the detail on this models ..trully amazed on sounds and real life details..definitely this are not toys anymore....♥♥♥
with that size of fleet do you have any repeat numbers ? the funny thing i baught a GO transit MP40 601 and i had already had an AC6000 sp with number 601 my little brother noticed it that same day
Membership dues fund the construction and maintenance of the layout. I don't know what the layout is worth, but we put much less than a thousand bucks per year into it...
Hey watch it there; Chessie's layout is 20 years old, and the old fart can't afford to update it. It's actualy more realistic IMO. He's a good friend of mine, so please subscribe to his channel and say nice things about his layout. :P
Im sorry, I didnt mean it in a disrespectful way. I just like new lookin track, thats y I asked if u guys did track construction vids. When Chessie replaces the old track on his layout can u tape it and post it on YouTube??
Fantastic!! Very Professional Presentation! I really enjoyed it! I'm learning operations here! An aspect of the hobby I really didn't think I cared about! It's fun!

They are real sounds. They have been recorded trackside ourselves, or dubbed from a DVD or VHS video.

oh yeah. you take the real sounds from a dvd or a video and edit it into the original footage. probably one of the best ways to do it
