  • i think it was a high ankle sprain...i was just tryna see what you did to avoid from re-agg'n it & what you did to injure it again?

  • @AlphaDogGeneral

I started playing soccer again, and kept rolling my ankles. and spraining them. I believe that's what caused it to bother me again the last couple years...

  • lol. sorry for all the questions. i just had a ankle injury late dec. & its just starting to heal to where it doesnt feel tight anymore. im an athlete also but i've never experienced injures till after my career was over. kinda strange but i guess it caught up with me. especially my knees n ankles...i wasjust asking because of the amount of weight you put on to squat & way you have to position your legs, maybe it mite agg. the ankle. not sure what your dr. told you.

  • poor baby

  • hey, what happened to your ankle? what kinda accident? how long did they say its gonna take to heal in the cast? & are you still lifting the same weight or somewhat less with the cast on?

  • @AlphaDogGeneral

I had surgery on my ankle. Peroneal tendon stabilization. I had surgery on it once before, about like 6 years ago . . . it was from a hockey injury. Snapped the tendon sheath, and the tendon would keep popping out over the outside ankle bone :-(

The surgeon said 10 weeks in a cast . . . it's been 5. I see him tomorrow, so will find out how much longer.

As for training, my legs are at 90% for exercises requiring both legs. Can't really do single leg exercises . . . for my right.

  • @87hockeychick35 Curt Schilling injury?
