There is ONE flaw in this game.

The Prankster comet siren.

You can't skip it, it's annoying as FUCK, it gives me a headache, and ever single green star has it!

It might be easier if only the prankster comets did this, but nope, all the green stars also do it.

I actually took a break from playing the game, before I unlocked the Grandmaster Galaxy, because the siren was so horrible. To date, it's the only game where I did that, just on a sound effect alone.

does this game have proper mario 64 like-levels? I'm not a huge fan of the planetoids, like a little planet - do a task - fly to another planet - do a task - I way prefer actual levels - does anyone else think this?

@smalllions wll this is mario galaxy so its mostly planetoid levels but the game mixes it up you arent always planet hoping there are some of the standard 64 style levels and even classic 2D perspective level and even an actual 64 level makes a guest appearance so there are alot of larger planets in the game you still have you planet hopping (which i love i feel its a joy to hop from planet to planet makes me feel like a kid) but the game really offers great variety

@nero314100 It's just you. I had a lot more trouble with Galaxy 2, particularly in World S, than really any of the other levels in Galaxy 1. I played both nonstop, I beat Galaxy 1 in 3 days, and Galaxy 2 in 10 days. That kind of shows you how much easier one is from the other.

@MrMarill ugh...I've lost 50 lives on The Perfect Run since unlocking it six or so hours ago. I either fuck up on the fourth area (the one with the platforms from the flip-swap galaxy) or get hit in the face with a hammer. I've only gotten to the Boomerang Bros. twice! I never thought any mission could piss me off more than that fucking Chimp's challenge in the Honeyhop Galaxy. That's what I get for thinking...and the Stone Cyclone was a pain in the ass, especially when getting Green Star 1....

As for Perfect Run, use Luigi and keep as many clouds as you can during the 3rd section. His longer jumps mean you can jump over lightning instead of using clouds. If you finish that section with two clouds remaining, the next section becomes easier... You can't swap the platforms, but you CAN just make a cloud then really quickly long jump before it disappears. For the hammer bros, just spin like crazy :-P

Green Power Stars is a new addition to the game! Its not a spoiler. I don't leave out new features, when reviewing a game. Even our competitors mentioned Green Power Stars, its part of the game. Same with a new game plus feature in Chrono Trigger or Extra Quest in Zelda games. If its part of the game, it will be mentioned.

Yeah usually give games 10/10 only comes from me, since most companies are very careful of scoring a game 10/10. Some how Galaxy 2 has achieved a perfect score, because its a great game. Although critics find different things to like and dis like, but all agree its an awesome game.

Actually Green Stars are new feature and needed to be shown in the video as did being able to play as Luigi with out needing to unlock him. I did not show every world, nor did I show the final world after getting 240 stars. There are tons of Galaxies and I didn't show them all. Most shown in this video are from worlds 1-3.

Ya I can agree to that. Still not everyone is going to struggle with the same things in games. Some bosses were really easy, others kinda of challenging all depends on the person. I say this game still holds up well and will stand the test of time.

10 out of 10 for sure. Best game I've ever played.

There's a few minor problems with the story though. LIke when Luigi beats the game he should have his own "special one"...not Princess Peach! That's mario's girl. Another thing that bugs me is the way the crew on the starship keep acting like I need to save the princess (again) after I saved her. HELLO why is Princess Peach still sending me letters from a far away place? lol

As far as I can tell,Co-star mode is way better.The other player controls Co-star Luma,who has his own spin attack.So,this makes it so the other player can help solve puzzles,defeat enemies,destroy obstacles,etc.
